Best stay at this authentic and beautiful chateau

This has been the best authentic and most beautiful stay my husband and I have experienced this summer in France. The description and photos lived fully up to the promises. The inviting mood (also towards our dog), the quiet atmosphere, local delicious meal really set the tone for a great stay. We will definitely love to come again!

Vivre comme les dieux en France !! A really enchanting little chalet, decorated with loving attention to detail, passionately run by the owners. Breakfast was marvelous, dinner prepared the Lady of the house was equally superb. A place to stay, and definitely to return to. The owner went out of his way to support our trips.

Parfait!

Beautiful location - the last building in the village. Surrounded by fields with great views from the rooms and the numerous seating areas in the garden. Breakfast was simple and eaten on a terrace overlooking fields. Perfect peace and quiet!

Beautifully done interior design with an eye to period authenticity. The views of the countryside are open and wide. The owners were quite personable. I had a little difficulty finding the castle since I had incorrectly set my sights on the village of Perpezat. I was looking for "Lieu dit Perpezat" which landed me an hour from the correct village - Apchat.

Unfortunately the property is a it run down and very remote. The online description and pictures give a false impression, it is very basic and more a farmhouse than chateau. No restaurant on site so the nearest restaurant was over a half hours drive away down very narrow country lanes. The owner was very friendly but we got a shock when he tried to let another couple into our room at 23:30 forgetting that we were already in there and asleep! Overall we would not recommend staying here.

Une demeure de caractère douce et rassurante calme et sérénité. Des hôtes attentionnés et discrets. Un coup de chapeau à la table d hôtes au dîner. Le pain maison du petit-déjeuner vaut le détour. Une chambre très spacieuse hors du temps, une excellente literie et une très belle vue. En quelques mots un séjour que nous recommandons.

Contrée magnifique, très belle demeure (mais le jardin reste à recréer), accueil feutré et compétent, cuisine raffinée. L'environnement est propice à la promenade à pied. Très belle vue depuis la chambre (ainsi que la salle d'eau). Seul bémol, l'absence de porte entre la chambre et la salle d'eau.

Excellent ! Des chambres d’hôtes comme on en rêve . Tout était beau et bon. Le lieu est vraiment enchanteur tant de par l’environnement que de par la bâtisse et la qualité de sa rénovation. L’accueil est sincèrement chaleureux et la cuisine franchement délicieuse . Un petit paradis dans le parc naturel des volcans d’auvergne . A recommander!

L'endroit est juste magique. J'ai été très bien reçu. En plus je suis arrivé tard, et le château est très bien indiqué grâce à des panneaux. La vue de ma chambre était magnifique. Je recommande la gelé de foin de l'établissement. Une excellente coupure durant mon déplacement professionnel.
