"The property itself is worth the trip. A breathtaking escape from the everyday. The beds were outrageously comfortable and the view from the window was to die for. We ended up in an ADA accessible room, so the shower head was pathetic and the water pressure wasn’t great. We tried the bar and grill and the food was fantastic, though the service was slow. The indoor and outdoor hot tub were both functional and fantastic. However, It threw me off that the indoor-outdoor pool was open to the outside when it was only about 40F outside. You couldn’t swim it was so cold inside (though people still did). Overall, we can’t wait to go back and escape, it truly was the most relaxing mini trip."

"Great hotel to stay, near several restaurants, Walmart, and Sheetz. Room was clean, staff was very nice checking in. They had shampoo, conditioner, and soap, but more amenities were available upon request."

"Hotel was disgusting rugs very dirty going to the rooms, first room we got no fire detector hooked up, found part of it in a drawer outdated (2012), they then gave us another room, door chain lock did not work, plug in bathroom sink broke, then get ready for bed and found 2 stink bugs just above the bed and another one on a different wall. Needless to say we were not a happy customer , I reported this to the girl on our way out, and she told me she wasn’t surprised, that other customers complain of the same issues, and nothing was ever done about it. Also upon arrival desk clerk standing outside entrance smoking with others, only time she seemed to go to counter was when a customer arrived. I cannot believe Hotels.com associates with hotels like this one!! "

"So, I book a cabin at least once a year and mostly 2 or 3 times a year in this area. This cabin has an awesome view of the lake. Sadly, that is all it has going for it. It was definitely not very clean. Bathroom had not been touched I am assuming since the last people there. There was zero wash clothes, the Internet did not work long enough to watch even the morning news. I know internet in this area is sketchy but this was exceptionally bad for being right off route 19. The hot tub was 107 degrees and would not get cool enough to even get in. (Although, it was not very clean either so…) There is a huge problem with wood bees, wood chips were everywhere, to the point where there are holes all over, both inside and out. I would hate to see exactly how much damage is done by the bees. The patio was great with a fire pit but you can tell it has not been swept or gotten ready for guests at all. The retaining wall in the back is not looking so good either. It could very well fall in at any time. Actually, it is just sad how this property is completely not taken care of. I do not feel good in any way to write this review. I just hope the owner sees this and makes some change. And definitely fires the cleaning crew they have. Will not be back."
