"The Marsuites is a newer hotel in a slightly older town. It's run by a very nice family, and the breakfast was the most delicious of the four hotels we stayed in during our trip through Iberia. Only thing to be aware of is that Armação de Pêra is somewhat sleepy and the town (not the hotel!) could use a fresh coat of paint compared to some of the other beachfront towns in Algarve. There are some good restaurants, and for the big spenders there's a Michelin 2 star restaurant nearby."

"We had a fantastic stay for our baby moon!
-Room was very large and clean. Beautiful balcony. We didn’t use the tub, but it was pretty and there was a large shower with his and her shower heads. Lots of squishy or firm pillows.

"The property was lovely. Very clean and quiet. Close to nice beaches and towns. Great for our family visit. We also appreciated the many dining options and pools at the neighboring Marriott resort. The only negative was the broken AC unit in our room. It leaked a lot of water which had already caused damage to the wall and flooring before we arrived. We mentioned it at check-in and stopped using the unit when we noticed the damage. We were told that it was on the list to be repaired."
"Location is ideal for beach hopping. Hosts are super nice and so joyful- it was such a pleasure to stay there. The salt water pool and sauna as well as the hot tubs are fantastic. Highly recommend. "

For those like me who are always skeptical when reviewing the hotel provided pictures, I can say that the rooms, the surrounding, the facilities, and the pleasant staff are exactly as described and portrayed. "Such a wonderful, relaxing place! It was far from the noise, hustle and bustle of bigger towns like Lagos and Carvoeiro. This is close to Praia Marinha. Breakfast was good, staff were amazing from the reception and housekeeping/dining. Highly recommended!"

"Wonderful stay. My family stayed 5 nights in a two bedroom apartment. Short drive to beautiful beaches, short walk to town, but very quiet surrounding the hotel. Plentiful parking at the hotel.
Washing machine in the apartment was VERY convenient as we were on a longer trip (you'll need to supply your own detergent - bring laundry strips, or there's a supermarket short drive away). "
