It is the perfect house also when it is raining and windy, what can happen often in Denmark. Using the fireplace and playing board games makes also these days enjoyable. "Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und sichtgeschützt auf einem großen Grundstück mit 2 Terassen. Durch das Reetdach wirkt es heimelig. Innen ist es modern und funktional eingerichtet. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt fehlt eine Waschmaschine und Schränke in den Schlafzimmern. Für eine knappe Woche haben die beiden Kommoden gereicht. Der einzige Nachteil: Zu schmale Betten und zu wenig Haken im Bad für Handtücher. Positiv überraschend war, dass Handtücher bereit lagen und auch die Betten bezogen...

"A nice 1 night stay, rooms are spacious, not a fan of concrete floors or shower curtains instead of screens but that’s just personal preference. The treats and toy for my dog was a cute touch - but paying for breakfast to find out we can’t use it as can’t take our dog (and obviously can’t leave in room) is annoying, perhaps don’t offer it at check in without telling people of the no dogs rule."

"Great lodge and wonderful variety of facilities, car charging, patio furniture and decent on site shop and restaurants. Grounds were wonderful too with plenty of play areas and safe pedestrian only areas. Only downside was the confusion over bedding and towels which we could have done without but all the staff were very helpful. Planning a full family trip next time across 2 lodges."

"Room was a good size and was very clean on arrival. Typically, details of how to use wi-fi etc. were via a QR code on the door card wallet, which I didn't noice until I had worked out how to do it for myself. A room card with the details in various languages would have been a bonus. Staff were really friendly and very helpful; I had to call on them just after 11pm as we were unable to sleep due to delegates from a conference having quite the party in the bar; they had opened external doors and windows which was allowing the sound to travel, stopping us (and other guests) from sleeping...and I thought British drunks were noisy! Any way, the doors were quickly closed after my complaint and without any rioting on behalf of the revellers; another appreciated cultural difference. We had an evening meal in the Panorama Restaurant; waiting staff were lovely, meals were very good, served hot and without delay; if I was 12 again, I would have made full use of the all-you-can-eat soft ice cream services. Breakfast was quite unbeliveable, more food than we knew what to do with from sausages and bacon to a full cold meats selection; would go again just for the breakfast! LEGOLAND park has it's own covered walkway from the hotel, very useful for us as it was raining for most of our visit. Finally, even having checked earlier that day, the hotel staff were still happy to call a taxi for us and even gave my wife a 'birthday' badge when we left."
