The bird feeders not only attract an incredible amount of birds but also some other mammals such as the Agouti and the Coati. "Location & Property: The hotel is located about 15 minutes from Puerto Viejo, on the road towards La Fortuna. The property is very pleasant and well maintained, with the rooms spread across different cabins connected by paths. The setting feels peaceful and surrounded by nature, making it a nice place to relax and enjoy the jungle. Room: Our room was clean and comfortable, although quite basic. The bed was comfortable and the room had air conditioning, but there was no TV or fridge. The bathroom was clean and functional, with a shower and basic toiletries. Breakfast: Breakfast was fairly standard, with coffee, juices, and a selection of hot and cold dishes. Nothing particularly special, but it was more than enough to get the day started. Facilities & Surroundings: There is a nice swimming pool, although we didn't get to use it because of the heavy rain during our stay. The property also has several paths where you can walk around and enjoy the surrounding jungle. There is even a pond with alligators. We went to have a look, although unfortunately we weren't lucky enough to see any. All things considered, this is a nice place to stay if you're exploring the area or simply looking for a comfortable stopover. It would also be a good option when travelling between Tortuguero and La Fortuna."
