"This motel is great for a one-night last-min ski trip. You get what you pay for. No frills and the rooms are outdated but the location was great for skiing and a fraction of the cost of everything else around. I will definitely be back. "

"We (7 of us) were woken up by a smoke detector going off at 3:00 am. We did our best to find the culprit and remove it but to no avail. We reached out to the property management team. The gentleman was could only tell us no one was available to help us at this time and the notes he had showed that this same problem had happened 4 days earlier but with no fix. He said he wasn’t allowed to reach out to the owner. There was one smoke detector in the eves of the ceiling which we couldn’t reach without a ladder so we too matters into our own hands and called the fire department who came with a ladder and removed the detector. Unfortunately that didn’t solve our problem. At 5:30 am I found a stand alone NEST device sitting on a shelf under the TV and lo and behold that unit was the one beeping. At this point no one was going back to bed as we planned to ski the next day. We were all working on 3.5 hours sleep. The management crew came out mid morning and met my husband at the house. He explained the situation, they didn’t replace all the dectectors. They left them on the kitchen table. We have reached out to VRBO and Vacasa and they keep telling us their management team is looking into the situation. I’ve given them 10 days to make this right, which they haven’t. So I have been forced to write this disappointing review. I am beyond frustrated and am still waiting for some sort of compensation. "

"We reported a strong odor of heating fuel and the host dismissed our concerns to justify denying a refund without coming to the property in person despite living locally. VRBO did the right thing and refunded us but this host left us with a bad taste in our mouths and we will be careful about booking at any of his properties again."

"Well first off the ad on VRBO is inaccurate. It’s not entire house it’s an apartment. The pictures show entire house. Then once you get the information to be able to check in the place it tells you a unit number. Some of the outlets do not work. The batteries in the tv remote were corroded had to purchase new ones to be able to watch tv. We booked this place going off the fact that it said entire house and we thought it would not have a lot of stairs since I was bringing my elderly parent who has trouble going up stairs. All the window were unlocked and open. We could not figure out why the place was not getting warm. Also there was food and iced left in the freezer and we barely could put are frozen food away. There was also apple cider left in the fridge when we arrived. Other then that is was not a horrible stay. "

"We had a pleasant stay…the house was warm and cozy…the views were incredible…the house was clean for the most part, I did find a chocolate chip in the living room and a piece of cheese in the kitchen under the butcher block cabinet baseboard. The instructions for trash was confusing…in order to put it in the outer trash bin you needed blue/purple Franconia bags but there weren’t any and the stores only sold packages of multiple bags My main issue is the listing was misleading…in the pictures of the house and property…there was a picture of the house across the street and none of the actual house…we were under the impression that the entry to the house was at street level…we definitely were Not expecting the steep uneven stairs to the entry way…it was a little hairy for my 89 yr old mother to go up and down those stairs"

"The chalet provided our family all that was necessary for an enjoyable two night stay. The location was perfect for what we had planned with the short amount of time that we had there. The only suggestion would be to upgrade the beds as they were not that comfortable."
