The downtown location of this hotel is incredible - you can walk to restaurants, shops, and breweries. Parking was easy, the room was TO DIE for, the whole property is incredibly clean, tbe breakfast is delicious, there’s coffee/tea/water all the time, the patio between houses is super nice, the bed was super comfy and the bathroom was amazing. 15/10, literally cannot wait to go back.
Zelda Dearest is the most charming place you can stay in Asheville. A mix of comfort, luxury, and convenience made better by the excellent staff. They remember and treat their returning guests exceptionally well. There’s plenty to explore close by, but this is a wonderful place to enjoy on its own. Slow mornings in the courtyard or starting the evening at Wine & Roses. You leave your stay feeling restored and refreshed, but I’m always terribly sad to check out. No amount of days here is enough!
We absolutely loved Zelda Dearest. This place has quickly become our go-to when we’re in Asheville — the 1920s vibe, the atmosphere, the staff — all of it just works. Breakfast was fantastic and the perfect way to start the morning before heading out to explore downtown. The location is great too, easy walking distance to everything. If you haven’t stayed here yet, you’re missing out. We’ll definitely be back.
We had a lovely stay at Zelda Dearest. The furnishings and decor are beautiful and comfortable, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was good - we were able to walk to most things downtown. We can't wait to come back!

Staff was very friendly and the property is amazing. Great location with walkable restaurants nearby also, and quick drive to Biltmore. Highly recommend.
Room was nice. Layout of the property is different. Be prepared for stairs. Unfortunately the hotel car was closed to guests as the hotel was hosting a wedding. The staff was very helpful.

Our stay and room at Zelda Dearest were sumptuous and immaculate. Check in was a delight. We will return for sure!
The room is better than the pictures
In a great location .walk to restaursnts and shops .
The breakfast was delicious and all people that worked there were very nice .
We woukd definitely return.
Amazing hotel! Warm greeting and great drinks at their cocktail bar. Room was beautiful, elegant and I loved the decor. Breakfast was included and absolutely wonderful, loved the overnight oats & frittata. Will definitely be returning! My only slight complaint was that the steps walking down to Biltmore Ave. were steep, uneven and no handrail. I didn’t have any issues with them but it felt a little treacherous any time we had to use them.

Kind, helpful staff. Real thought put into the finishes with integration of local art. Stayed in Magnolia and loved the tub. Nice to have parking on site since street parking is real tight. A free breakfast is also included and they provide all local food, which was delicious. Bed was more 4 star than 5 but overall great stay!
Zelda Dearest is charming in every way. Walking into the building feels like coming home. The room was well stocked, delightfully decorated and incredibly comfortable. The staff was above and beyond lovely to interact with and very helpful. The location is an easy walk to downtown. I cannot say enough positive things about our stay.
Excellent experience! Could not say enough great things about our stay. Amazing staff, clean space, delicious breakfast. Highly recommend!!

I loved everything about this hotel! So much charm and character. The staff were friendly and helpful. The property was very well maintained and our room was immaculate. I will definitely staff here again.
I can’t say anything negative about this establishment, and if I could it wouldn’t be for a lack of effort on the employee’s part!
Every instance the staff were eager to assist us with anything from passionately recommending restaurants, cleaning rust off the bathroom vanities, coming in on some of their off days to salt the walkways when it snowed, and even sharing the recipe for their wonderful chocolate banana bread.
I loved staying here, the grounds are beautiful and thought is put into every bit of it. Extremely clean, extremely pretty, close to everything you need, and very honest people. We will definitely be back to Zelda Dearest! Shoutout to Regina, Garrett Matthew, and Jake! Their personalities contributed to our love of the place
Ps: I lied. my only complaint was the lack of a microwave in our suite, but a small price to pay for everything else to be, quite literally, perfect
I am so grateful to have found this local hotel so close to lots of good food, beer and music. The staff were so friendly and I could tell they loved their job. Our room was gorgeous and felt like our own little getaway. I would highly recommend staying here instead of the hotel chains in town.
