"I loved the property, the unit was spacious and clean and located within walking distance from the train station. There’s no one on sight to manage check in so don’t show up early because you can’t get in. I would definitely stay here again."

"We had a wonderful stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. We booked one of the rooms with private onsen and half board. It was very spacious and clean, and a great view. The food was beautifully prepared and delicious. The public baths were large and and not too busy before dinner. There are complimentary drinks in the lobby at check-in and at breakfast, but also a kettle and tea bags and a mini-fridge in our room."

"I can’t recommend this place enough. From the moment you step foot through the door you are welcomed and looked after. The private onsen in room had amazing views, the free snack and drinks perfect before dinner. We had the grill option. Special shout out to our amazing chef Mitsuharu. Not only was he an amazing chef he shared his knowledge about Japan and its food. Also thanks to him for honouring us with special origami gift made by his daughter. I would highly recommend staying and we will be back. Thank you to all the staff at the hotel who made our stay so pleasurable."

Une navette gratuite entre la gare la plus près et l’hôtel est également incluse dans le prix. Bref, cet hôtel nous a permis de relaxer tout en découvrant la région d’Hakone."

"The buffet breakfast here was exceptional. Japanese cuisine rotated daily so you get to try a wide variety of food and be perfectly setup for the day. Most days spent here we were fine until dinner because of how filling the breakfast was. They had a fairly large staff cooking and keeping things clean. I only wish I could have expressed just how amazing the food was. The property was nice, though they do not have cool air in the upstairs halls or elevators. But, that’s not unusual. Same for cleaning rooms, they turn off unattended air. Just be prepared, this is also fairly normal. Check in procedure was simply providing passports for scan. Check out was an automated machine where each room key went and an employee was very helpful to streamline the process. Odawara was my first stop on my first trip to Japan. It is a nice place on its own with plenty of charm and makes Mount Fuji and Hakone very accessible. It’s a Shinkansen stop as well. So getting to Tokyo was 33 min. This hotel is a few blocks from the station on the main road in front of the East exit of the station. The street here is made up on one side to be reminiscent of older Japan towns. If you crave a smaller city experience and need access to other areas, this is a good spot. Plus there’s Odawara Castle a couple blocks away. Very walkable."

"This was a wonderful hotel, my wife and I enjoyed it very much. It's very traditional. The baths were amazing. The staff were so polite, it's very clean. Free beverages, including alcohol coffee, sodas, just about anything you may want. The roof top was amazing in the evening, and the river in front of the hotel provided a wonderful site and sound to complement our relaxing stay."
