Lakefront Retreat with Stunning Views | Forget-Me-Not by AvantStay

10/10 Excellent

"A stunning, serene home with space for all! Celebrated a milestone birthday with 8 women and this was the perfect home for gathering! The community spaces comfortably fit all of us - as did the hot tub, sauna and screen porch! The deck provided lovely views and access to outside, as well as a nice grill set up. The kitchen easily accommodated all for our happy hours and breakfast buffets. In the basement, we found room for morning yoga, and the extra refrigerator came in handy. A few of us even swam in the lake off the dock. Local hikes and easy trips into surrounding towns (loved Great Barrington!) are the reasons we chose the area and were close enough to enjoy - but we also found walking the looped road the house was on to be a great start to the day, with gorgeous views of Lake Garfield. At night we fell into comfortable beds with high-end bedding - the additional bathroom in the basement was terrific when we all needed to get ready for our day. Last but very important - the minor issues we encountered (cracked coffee pot, disconnected garage drawer) were responded to immediately and addressed same-day! Avantstay checked in with us regularly prior to and during our stay which was impressive and helpful."

Beautiful, Private Berkshires Retreat w Magic View! 5min to Lake Garfield Beach

10/10 Excellent

"The view even better than the photos suggest, and the surrounding woods are beautiful and quiet and peaceful. The house is well furnished and lovely. But what makes this place amazing is the location, so plan to spend some time there enjoying it. Eating dinner during sunset on the deck is a wonderful experience. If you aren't fond of driving on a dirt road (even a well-maintained dirt road), use Tyringham Road rather than Main Road to reach Hupi Road. Also, the driveway is pretty steep and only partially paved. I'm not sure our former low-slung sedan would have been happy with it, especially in the winter, but our mini-SUV had no problems at all. The location is totally worth it."

Lake Haven with new dock and amazing views of Lake Garfield

"This was a spectacular home in a spectacular setting. It accommodated our kids and grandkids (11 of us) very comfortably. 10/10 for everything. Would definitely stay there again."

The Owl & Firefly – Family Cabin in the Berkshires

10/10 Excellent

"We had a great time- the house was perfect for our multi-generational family weekend- the 3 year old and 15 month old loved the playroom."

Monterey Haven < 1/2 Mi to Lake Garfield w/ Kayaks

10/10 Excellent

"Wonderful lakehouse and amenities! The property is clean, spacious and provided my family with everything we needed for a wonderful time. Lovely decor, outdoor deck for grilling and dining and fire pit for s’mores and relaxing. The kids loved the dock, we used the kayaks many times, and also brought some of our own floats. The hosts are very friendly and made us feel welcome. Overall amazing vacation!"

Lakefront Otis Home w/ Stunning Views & Boats!

10/10 Excellent

"We had an absolutely magical time in this home away from home. Not your typical VRBO, this was indeed like being an invited guest into someone's impeccably designed home, with every detail curated. You will want for nothing but a longer stay! The space was perfect for 4 of us who needed tranquility and peace. Thank you"

Peaceful Cabin Close to Skiing and Hiking

10/10 Excellent

"Nice cabin in a quiet, wooded setting. Lots of space for our family of four, and more beds if needed. Kitchen has a lot of the things you need and family room is comfortable. It’s also close to several small towns with restaurants and things to see and do. Don’t miss High Lawn Farm for fresh creamery ice cream."

Misty Pines Cabin | Wood Stove • Sauna

10/10 Excellent

"Cabin was incredible! Clean, private, rustic, perfect furnishings, and super comfortable beds! Screened in porch is a huge bonus (spent most of our time there)! Top notch location for hiking - don’t miss the AT at the top of the road. Will definitely be back!"
