"We were transitioning from Crete to Athens and heading back home the next day great Location made our transition and transfers to the hospital quite easy since it was just a walk. Staff is great the facilities fantastic. Restaurant on the rooftop a bit overpriced but food was delicious."

"First stay in Athens and the Electra Metropolis was absolutely perfect. Location was central to many of the sites. The staff were exceptional with services. The breakfast buffet is stellar. The rooftop pool and bar were incredible and provided the most amazing views. Thank you for proving such a wonderful stay for our family of 4."

"The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, including providing a cheat sheet of common Greek phrases with pronunciation to help us navigate Athens. They seemed genuinely concerned with our welfare and care while staying there. Absolutely a welcoming experience for travelers who want to experience Athens’s hospitality at its best. A++"

"The hotel is in a very convenient part of town. It’s an easy walk to Psyri in about 15 minutes. The rooftop pool is a great perk when coming back from a long hot day of exploring the city."

Hotel Avra by Smile hotels

Hotel Avra by Smile hotels

10/10 Excellent
"Overall, we had a very good 1-night stay after arriving from London to catch our ferry the next morning out of the Rafina port. May be not the hotel's issue, but some signage for the hotel shuttle in the shuttle lot would be helpful to know where to meet the shuttle. FYI - the shuttle runs on every hour on the half hour so 9:30, not 9:00. But the complimentary shuttle from the airport to the hotel was convenient. While the front desk lady was not very friendly, the room was a good size for our family of 3 with a clean room and bathroom. The complimentary breakfast buffet was surprisingly good and more than sufficient. The location to the Rafina port was very close and took about 5 minutes even with rolling our luggage. Side note - the Rafina port was so much easier to deal with than Piraeus which is the major port and crowded."
