I don’t even know where to start with Budgetel Inn & Suites Atlanta — this has easily been one of the worst, most unprofessional hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
First off, the manager was extremely disrespectful. No professionalism, no concern, just a nasty attitude like helping guests was beneath them. The lack of basic manners and customer service is honestly unbelievable.
Now let’s talk about the main issue — my toilet was clogged for TWO DAYS. I reported it multiple times, and not only was there no real solution, but the staff acted completely nonchalant like it wasn’t even a problem. A clogged toilet is a basic necessity, not some minor inconvenience.
But here’s where it gets even worse — staff came into my room and instead of fixing the ONE issue that actually mattered, they made up my bed, changed the TV channel, turned off the bathroom light, and opened the curtains… and then LEFT with the toilet STILL clogged. So you had time to touch everything in my room except the actual problem??? Then when I brought it up again, the manager had the nerve to say there was a “Do Not Disturb” sign on my door — which is a complete lie because my room doesn’t even HAVE a sign. So now on top of poor service, there’s dishonesty and excuses instead of accountability.
The level of inconvenience and disrespect is unreal. No urgency, no communication, no regard for guests or their space. It honestly feels like they just do whatever they want and expect customers to deal with it. poor!
