I was very happy with my stay at the Foothills Motel. The location was convenient to the shops, restaurants and wineries in the Auburn area. The staff was very helpful with directions and other questions. The bowling alley nearby was an added delight and a great price. I highly recommend the Foothills Motel.

This place is adorable ! Parking excellent you can park right in front of your room. In the evening they have lovely lights lit up around the building and swimming pool area . It quite lovely , quiet and peaceful! The staff very nice and welcoming ! A variety of food places are located very close to walk to or have delivered ! Enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend Foothills Motel if you’re stopping off in Auburn ! Thank you

Very retro, cool motel to stay. We had the deluxe king patio room that overlooked the swimming pool and it was very private and very enjoyable. All of the red retro appliances made the rooms super cute. Beds were comfortable. You can tell they put a lot of thought into this when they were renovating. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Auburn.

I absolutely loved my stay here all the way around! The motel sits right on top of a beautiful little ridge, offering some fantastic views and a wonderful atmosphere. It has a really cool, nostalgic retro vibe, but don't let that fool you—the entire place is super clean, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable. What stood out: The Location: Honestly, it couldn't be better. Perfect for exploring Auburn while still feeling like a scenic getaway. The Pool: Absolutely amazing! It was the perfect spot to unwind and relax. The Amenities: They have everything you need for a seamless, comfortable stay. If you are looking for a spotless, charming place with tons of character and a great location in the foothills, this is it. I’ll definitely be back!

We've been to Auburn multiple times but this was our first time staying at Foothills and it will now be our new spot to stay. The price is affordable and the location is great. We arrived Friday night and got checked in by Glenn who was super friendly and super helpful. He gave us history of the motel and let us know about all the amenities offered such as pool, ice machine, lounge chairs by the firepit and also informed us we can go to the bowling alley where they have food and a bar. There is plenty of parking right by your room. The room we booked is spacious and had everything we needed, the bed was surprisingly comfortable. I am a light sleeper and it was fairly quiet where I wasn't disturbed by any outside noise or hearing our neighbors much which is refreshing for a chance. We are definitely staying here going forward when we come to visit.

We stayed at this motel multiple times. The rooms are very clean and so is the property. The only two points I would like to see improving are: at least one chair in the room, though rooms are on the small side (two queen beds room), and a small table. Again, it might be a tight squeeze if they add these things. Other than this, it is a really nice little jewel of a motel.

Great place for a reasonable price. The room was clean, comfortable, and (surprisingly, because of the highway) very quiet. There's a bowling alley on the property that has a great little bar and grill attached and a Mexican restaurant next door. I'm not sure if it is in operation, but there is also a breakfast and lunch place next to that. The motel has a pool that I did not use, but it looked inviting. Overall, if you don't want to spend a fortune, you can't miss with this place.

This hotel was great. Very cute and comfortable. There was an issue with the AC but the staff was very responsive and helpful. The bowling alley with restaurant was decent and just a short walk there and back. I will definitely stay here again.
