The only thing I didn't like about this room was the bathroom window opened onto the walkway, this would have been OK at the far end, but as my room was right by the elevator it was a bit noisy at times. Other than that, the room was great, outstanding at the price point.

Excellent score based on the property being older. It was very clean and the kitchenette wonderful with a sanitary stainless steel counter and all necessary supplies. I loved that they had left a small bottle of milk in the fridge. I arrived late in the evening and appreciated having my usual mug of warm milk at night with milk left over for morning coffee. The staff are all wonderful, including the front desk, the room attendants and the dining staff. I ate at the little restaurant a few times. I have Celiac Disease and every effort was taken to make the food safe for me. The location of the Parnell is excellent as it was only a 6 - 8 minute walk up to the Parnell - Holy Trinity Church stop number 6 on the Hop on Hop Off route. The choice of shops and restaurants on Parnell is amazing. The Rose Garden is only a 10 minute walk in the other direction. It took me about 30 minutes to walk up to the hotel from the ferry terminal downtown. The only couple of points that I have taken off are for the quality of the mattress which I would rate as good versus excellent. I have slept on a lot worse in other hotels, though.

We stayed in a two bedroom suite. It was ok, very tired in terms of comfort, the two arm chairs are very uncomfortable, the sofa ok. The beds were comfortable though. It had everything you could want but it was just old and v tired. The air con would only turn on if you reset the master switch on it. The area of Parnell is really lovely though. Easy walk to bus stop and Parnell street of good cafes and restaurants.

First time booking this place and I loved it! it had everything I needed. Room was cozy and comfy. Came with milk and tea which was lovely. Shower was amazing with great pressure. There was a perfect view of the sky tower so I was able to watch the fire works on NYE. Then Dinner at gladstone was another added bonus. The fact that you dont have to go round and round for parking is also another added bonus. Would totally stay here again! thank you so much -
