Comfortable studio for 2 people, clean, nice view from deck. Kitchen utensils were minimal, à bread knife would have been useful. Too many drinks in the small fridge from the resort which we didn’t consume, so not much room for own drinks or food.
Nice holiday break , Thankyou.
Wonderful studio room and peaceful bush setting with Seaview. Unfortunately ruined by the upstairs noise coming straight through to our studio (even though the family weren't being particularly loud). Such a shame as otherwise our stay would've been perfect.
Our tv and Internet were not working. No one answered the phone at reception to get someone to come down as no one is there from 3pm onwards. We also had a blocked toilet that we had to put up with not flushing so made the room smelly. Those 3 problems were rectified the next morning.
Discolouration around shower door which was black. May have been black mould. That could be fixed with exit mould spray.
Beds were comfortable and sheets clean. Steep stairs to get to reception. Unless you can handle very steep hills and lots of stairs, don't go. Not a good place to stay if you are a pensioner.
Very pleasant staff.
Lovely resort, great location and views from your balcony. Walk to beaches. Good online price and kitchenette so you can still stay on a reasonable budget. Extras such as minibar pricey so watch out. Great restaurant with balcony views to die for. Lovely pool and spa.
We were not prepared for how steep the property was having not visited Waiheke before but it was a lovely unit and the bed was the most comfortable one we'd had! Shower pressure was poor and fridge didn't allow enough room for our own items, but enjoyed our stay.
Unfortunately, the photos on the website are misleading. When we played mini golf we noticed a run-down bar, and a 'dump' corner full of the golf carpeting, fencing, and other rubbish. The private spa pool that you are required to book and pay for is not private, it is located next to the pool with a small fence that slightly covers the area. Our room was okay, but we noticed lots of overgrown weeds outside and throughout the steps leading to the room. Our duvet inner was yellow and brown stained, same with the pillows. Our shower had some mould in the corner.
And unfortunately, the food was very average. We ordered breakfast, and the eggs were covered in this bright yellow & thick sauce that I am assuming was supposed to be hollandaise sauce, it tasted like it was poured out of a can ... not very pleasant. We won't be staying again.

Liked: Staff & service
This is a location for someone with a car or youthful energy. Steep hill up to resort and another to get to reservation desk. Units can have steep long steps down and up again. Advisement of meals available, but not while we were there. Room was clean. Service staff were great. Responsive to requests was slow.

Great room, great view!
Not an accessible site. Very steep property if you don't have a car. Bus service is very good - stops at the property and frequent consistent service across the island -
Was clean and tidy. But dangerous steps to accommodation. Slippery. Long way to reception with no offer of shuttle to move us and luggage. Or any suggestion of ferry pickup which would have been great. Restaurant was closed and no services after reception closed at 4pm.
Rooms and Bedding clean and tidy. Stairs and access to unit not for older people. Amenities closed after 4pm and no mention of no restaurant food after this time. For price very dated. TV not very useful no apple or chrome tv access. Beautiful view.
