We booked a table at the restaurant, just as well as it was fully booked.
Service and food were excellent.

"It’s an easy hotel, simple and without extra luxury, but clean and we got what we expected.
There is a parking at 5 min walking with a lot of space.
The breakfast buffet is also very good, although I would have preferred with more fresh fruits. "
"No Air conditioning it would be very uncomfortable if temps outside exceeded 85 degrees. However the breakfast bar was superb there is a walkway bridge to this quaint town in France a shopping mall a park on the Rhine the tram into Basel all within walking steps from the hotel."
"Very pleasant stay here. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, tidy and more than adequate for my needs, though perhaps a little less than I'd expect for the price.
Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold options, including crêpes, which was nice. Dinner was also of good quality.
I enjoyed a massage in the spa, the masseuse was friendly and welcoming, despite a bit of a language barrier.
Ideally located for EuroAirport too."
"After many hours on the road, we finally arrived at the "Carathotel Basel/Weil am Rhein" and we couldn’t have been more satisfied. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and our room was absolutely perfect. We were given a huge, comfortable bed, and everything was clean and well-prepared.
We truly can’t fault a single thing and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant stay.

"This was a fabulous hotel. I actually stayed here for 10 nights and used it as my home base to travel a bit throughout Switzerland. …and a bit of France. One can easily walk all the way to the main center of Basel (if you like longer walks through an adorable area) or you have the tram in Basel or the train in Saint-Louis to get places.
