"Sometimes one negative experience can overshadow an entire stay and unfortunately, that was the case for us. From the moment we arrived, we were not greeted. The front desk agent was unwelcoming, unresponsive, and did not answer our questions. We were not even properly provided with a functioning room key. Our reservation was for three guests, including a sofa bed. I requested assistance to prepare it, which was declined. Later, we realized the room had only two towels. Multiple requests (starting at 8:30 PM) for a pillow, blanket, and additional towels were ignored, and nothing was delivered. When my husband approached the front desk in person, the same dismissive and unhelpful attitude continued. At a minimum, a hotel should provide basic essentials such as a prepared bed, sufficient towels, and proper bedding. Unfortunately, these standards were not met. We were unable to rest and chose to leave after one night. To be fair, the following morning Nick and Michael were professional, acknowledged the situation, and apologized. We also received confirmation of a refund, which we appreciate. However, when a stay is so dependent on the conduct of a single staff member, it raises concerns about overall service standards. i highly recommend considering other options in the area."

"Poolside was not open in March. Bartender had to get management to make drinks.... management took forever to read from bartenders guide to make super easy drinks. Left my kindle in room (totally my bad) but called front desk and inquired and still haven't heard back!!! Staff definitely riped us off!!!! Wonder why guests don't want them in your room???? "

"We had to ask the staff to clean the tub in our bathroom, after we found some pubic hairs. The cleaning ladies were very apologetic. They were not the ones that originally cleaned our bathroom but made it right. The view that we had was awful. We had the alley view with vehicles parked two feet away from our window. Parking was none existent. Do not count on it. We were lucky, guests were checking out as we were checking in and we ended up getting their parking spot "

"Pros and cons of Coda on Half… The pros first… The room was super clean, well lit, Great lighting options in both the main room and the bathroom, great refrigerator, the room smelled great, all the lights in the bathroom were great. The toiletries and towels were great in regards to clean and smelled great. The cons were the bath towels did not fit around my waist and I'm only 215 pounds, the towels definitely need to be larger. The water pressure in the sink was almost nonexistent. The air-conditioning chose to turn off in the middle of the night and I woke up hot and sweaty. When the air conditioning was working, it works great."

"Switches for lights are not easy to find, no ice, towels would be more accessible if they were on the shelf on the wall, no microwave, no indoor pool. For the price of the hotel, I was surprised there was no pool and microwave. What was great: food, breakfast and dinner, it’s a clean and quiet place, close to Union train/metro station. "

"What a great find!! This carriage house was perfect for the 4 of us adults. Very clean, very new, really well appointed. Excellent communication. The parking spot was really appreciated. Safe neighborhood. Good location for where we needed to go. Would definitely stay here again."
