Parsonage Stay

We had just a wonderful stay here, Patricia and Roger couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We loved the views and the lovely home...our room was very comfortable as well. This was probably our favorite stay in England...we totally enjoyed the surroundings as well.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Parsonage. If you are used to 5 star and want 5 star, then this probably isn't for you. However if you want a comfortable stay with lovely friendly owners and a great breakfast, then I can recommend this hotel.

A beautiful antique country home, with stunning views and lots of playful squirrels running around. You are served a lovely English's breakfast while overlooking the reservoir. Such friendly and welcoming hosts. Great stay!

Pat and Roger were very accommodating and lovely! We had to leave very early one morning and they offered to leave us a try of some breakfast items since we’d miss breakfast. Lovely stay.

Roger and Patricia are lovely The house is amazing and the grounds beautiful Breakfast was great Our room was cleaned after our first night, pleasant surprise Towels were a bit worn, bed was firm but comfortable, room was spacious The driveway was a bit uneven and tricky for low ‘sports’ car

Lovely property and fab owners. This was far more like a b&b in a beautiful old home with great views rather than a hotel. Owners v v friendly and accommodating. Rooms were spacious clean and comfortable and whilst parts need refurbishing that would detract from the charm of the property. Def come back!

The house and the host were absolutely excellent. The room, breakfast were all very good. We advise however to change your announcemant at the roadside (we were mistaken) and an amelioration of the road to the house seems me urgent.

Proper B&B! Fabulous owners

Stunning old house, really well maintained and spotlessly clean. The owners are wonderful, lovely people. Breakfast is superb. My room was a little tired, but very comfortable and warm. It is off the road, but not well signposted, so keep your eyes peeled when going for the first time

Property old with fantastic views but inside it is stuck in a time warp. This may not be too everyone's taste but we liked the nostalgia of it. Host very friendly and welcoming, we arrived on a motorbike and was surprised to find how enthusiastic Roger was about bikes and riding which was a real bonus.
