"It’s probably one of the best hotels on Buyukada, right by the sea. The setting is charming, the stuff very friendly & helpful. The rooms are simple but well equipped, with excellent modern bathrooms. But they run a huge restaurant at the same time, it gets crowded in the evening, restaurant customers seem to get priority over hotel guests in the choice of tables; music is very loud for the restaurant & goes on until midnight. "The hotel itself is a 5 all day. Not sure why all the pics have a fireplace and the room doesnt have it, but its summer so no big deal. Nice clean room with fancy jacuzzi. Even had headrests and changing colors etc. Nice bathroom. Bed a bit small but pretty comfy. Outdoor lounging area with privacy screen. All of it was good really.     "Black mould visible on walls, ceiling and all over the bathroom. Staff were lovely but only one person on the property at any time and no way to draw their attention if they were occupied. The vacant block opposite allows a beautiful view. Away from the touristic area which was a deliberate choice but the poorly maintained paths made access with luggage difficult. Laundry was returned still damp in a plastic bag and no tea/coffee making facilities available before 9am. Would not pass health and safety regulations in any western country. Disappointing because from outside it looks perfect and has so much potential. The owner keeps her distance and communicates via WhatsApp messages.."
