We really recommend

The hotel is a renewed Greek house and is really beautiful. It’s close to the city centre and good restaurants. You can not reach the hotel by car (because of the narrow streets of Ayvalik), but there is a parking place really close to it. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast is served at the terrace, and you can enjoy it appreciating the view to the sea. Apart from the comfort, the hospitality of the owners, and the delicious breakfast (for sure one of the best we had) made our experience there perfect. We really hope to go back!

A lovely stay in Ayvalik

We had a lovely stay at Kastoria. The rooms are super clean - one of the cleanest we had in Turkiye, the house is beautifully renovated and the family who is hosting is very sweet. They really want to make your stay as good as possible. Also they gave some great tips about what to do and where to go. We booked an extra night, because we liked it so much.

The place was clean and the exterior is a charming building. But it is not suitable for anyone with mobility or age issues because it is up a hill and not accessible by car/taxi, and there are a few flights stairs to carry your luggage. I felt the neighborhood hotels (not just this one) are charging more than they are worth when compared to other parts of the Aegean. The neighborhood is slowly gentrifying but not really too ready for higher spending travelers. Hoping the municipality helps out.

Ayvalık için en uygun konaklama yeri. Merkeze yakın. Çok iyi ağırlandık. Kiper Bey otel sahibi özel olarak tatil rotamızı çizdi her alanda bizimle çok iyi ilgilendi. Tekrar Ayvalık’a uğrayacak olursam kesinlikle başka yerde kalmam mümkün değil. Puanım 10/10.

Sakin ve güvenli

Ayvalık merkezde arnavut kaldırımlı bir, iki sokağı tırmandıktan sonra eskiden ayrıntılarıyla düşünülerek yapıldığı detaylarından ve ahşaplarından belli olan bu tatlı konuk evine vardım. Sokağın gürültüsünün ulaşmadığı, ev gibi bir ortam. Başta tenhalığı garipsedim ama Kiper Bey'in her şeyi tane tane açıklaması sayesinde gece, gündüz güvenli bir yerde olduğuma ikna olabildim ve ilk kez gidilen bir yerden insanlığa biraz daha güven tesis ederek ayrıldım :) Odalar kompakt, otel biraz yokuş başında, bu yüzden az eşya ile gelmekte fayda var. Kahvaltıya erkenden inip denizin sakinliğine karşı yavaş yavaş kahvaltının tadını çıkarmak güzel, kahvaltı terasının manzarası fotoğraftakinden de güzel, kahvaltıyı sunan insanlar nazik. Her şey için teşekkürler.

Gayet keyifli bir aile işletmesi. Özellikle Kiper bey çok yardımcı oluyor. Otelin yerine arabayla girmek çok zor, bu yüzden yakınındaki otopark'a bırakın. Ayvalık'ın girişinde mutlaka telefonla arayın ki bizim gibi zorlanmayın:) Odaların temizliği, kahvaltı, manzara her şey çok güzeldi. Tek dezavantajı ayvalık merkezde her yere yürümek zorundasınız:)

Önceden işletmeci beyefendiyi arayıp sorarsanız yol ve park yeri konusunda yardımcı olur. Terası çok güzel. Odalar temiz. Yasaklar yastıklar çok rahat. Kahvaltısı yeterli, lezzetli ve tazeydi.
