"Old Showa style minimalistic ryokan, but the room for 5 was spacepus (double room) and the tatami beds and beddings arw comfortable. Self-service to put the futon (which was no problem for us). Power plugs and Wifi were abundant. We were fine with steps but for eldery or disabled it may be a challenge. The hot spring bath was nice. "Rooms are clean, enough space for 2 persons and luggages (we rent 2 rooms for a family of 3).Beds are comfy. We can see the castle through the window of our rooms Staffs are polite. The location is convenient 10mn walking from the train station and ~10mn to the Matsumoto castle and the main street and the old town. The hotel has a small bath for men & women. Nothing to complain about."
