The location of the hotel is perfect, you can walk everywhere on the area. The bathroom shower drain had a weird smell but i guess most of bacalar placer have that smell, I just kept the door closed. The staff was very friendly and the place is clean

The Yak Lake House Hostal Bacalar
Incredible staff!!!! Friendly, informative, and helpful. One even lent me a lock for my locker. Tons of fun free activities: Yoga, salsa dancing, painting, sculpting, lotería, etc. curtains around your bunk for privacy. Tanning deck, lounge chairs, swimming area, boat cruises, etc.
