Baybreeze Restaurant and Motel

"2 star motel with a million dollar view and wonderful owners who have had the location for 50 years. Somewhat dated, but to us, it was part of the charm, a piece of history, can't help just appreciating the simplicity, also, sea food chowder at their home cooked restaurant was delicious!! Of you appreciate basic rustic charm, family run establishments, highly recommend!!! I've stayed at castles, chateaus all over Europe, and felt just as comfortable here! Go for it!"
Granite Town Hotel

"The staff were friendly and helpful on arrival and throughout. There was a last minute issue with getting a pet-friendly room which we had specifically requested in advance but it was quickly resolved. Be sure to clearly indicate your pet request when booking. The room was clean and comfortable. The finishes are a bit dated but still functional. It is a real old-style motel, not a cookie-cutter institutional profit-centre. Minimal use of disposable plastic anything. Real dishes and glasses in the breakfast room, food was good and plentiful. The grounds are grassy and well-suited to people travelling with pets."

"The room was clean and well appointed. I was happy with the accomodations...once I got in. I was emailed the day before I checked in with a pin number that was supposed to work for the main door and my room. Cool. It was pouring out when I arrived. I hauled my luggage and bags up a flight of stairs on the exterior of the building outside and got into the building ,only to find that it didn't work for my door. There's no management office in sight. There's no telephone number to call my reservation. Only an email address. I sent an email asking someone to contact me right away, and nobody ever did. Thankfully, as it would turn out there is a cafe on the first floor of the building. I asked a person there if they knew how to get a hold of management and it turned out that one of the staff members was able to help me. But nobody ever answered my email. The cafe closed shortly after she helped me. If I had gotten there any later, I would have wound up sleeping in my car. The woman that helped me get into my room was very nice. The people that manage the room and sent me the pin and didn't answer my email, we'e not."

"Can’t recommend Windsor House enough! From the beautiful clean rooms , the perfect balcony , the friendly staff , and the most delicious meals - we even ate dinner there twice ! Perfectly located in the heart of town . We love Windsor House"

"The Treadwell Inn was lovely and highly recommend. We stayed in room 5, which is beautiful. The facility is clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, and great location. We would stay here again. The start were all so friendly and helpful."
The Montague Rose Inn

"It’s a beautiful historic property. We were greeted on arrival and given great information about the area. It’s a short walk to the Main Street shops and restaurants. Rooms were clean, temperature controls were available and felt very private. We did not get to enjoy the onsite cafe but will look forward to it next trip."
