"Room was very nice , and access to a fridge in the lobby area was very helpful. Breakfast was a continental with coffee, tea, and juice. The restaurant and bar not open anymore In 2026 , and the first picture on Hotels is of the outside bar , so only 4 stars"

"This property is amazing! The pictures honestly didn't do it justice. The views, the house, the pool, all were incredible. Oh yes and the beautiful decor, the artwork by Michelle. "We enjoyed our stay but found a few things that could have been better. Our host (Will) was not present the first day and most likely did not know the coffee and tea bar had sour milk and no sugar. I took it upon myself to rummage around and find these things but I would have liked it better if they were there. Also, we had a scrap of toilet paper in our room and no refills so I had to find that as well. Small things but not a good first impression. Otherwise, the room was very comfortable, the pool was great and the breakfast was delicious."

"The Oaks Waterfront was exactly the kind of getaway we were looking for. Tucked away in a quiet, secluded setting, it feels like you’re escaping from everything, yet St. Michaels is only a short ride away thanks to their beautiful shuttle. It really gives you the best of both worlds. What stood out most to us was the family-owned and operated feel. Everyone was genuinely friendly, and there was a warmth about the property that made it feel less like a hotel and more like staying with incredibly hospitable friends. It has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in. We stayed in one of the cottages, and it was beautifully appointed with comfortable bedding and thoughtful touches that made it feel luxurious without trying too hard. The entire property is impeccably maintained, and you can tell the owners take great pride in every detail. We also traveled with our two dogs, and they were just as welcome as we were. They loved the cottage, and we appreciated the dog beds, bowls, and bottled water waiting for them. Those little touches made all the difference. The food was fresh and delicious, and the complimentary breakfast each morning was another example of the attention to detail they put into the guest experience. A special thank you to Kathie, Brad, Linda, and the entire team, including housekeeping. Their kindness and genuine hospitality are what make The Oaks such a special place."

"Nice property right on the water with a convenient kayak lift. The pool area is great with beautiful views. Unfortunately, the pool pump was broken and very loud the first half of our stay but was replaced midweek. Make sure you don’t go over the 12 person max as they have cameras outside and will be counting."
