"The staff were amazing with friendly service. The hotel location and ambiance were simply great. The rooms were very clean, neat, comfortable, with a wonderful decoration mirroring the famous Joanina library. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend this charming hotel."

"Staff were helpful, the room was clean and parking was on site which was nice. The grounds around the hotel were quite nice which had many orange and lemon trees loaded with fruit. Pool was being cleaned when we were there and we would not go into the pool even though staff said that we could. It was quite dirty. The hotel is about a 20 minute ride into the heart of Coimbra. We would recommend a taxi or Uber since parking is very hard to find in Coimbra. "
