The reception folks were very nice and helpful with suggestions for a walk on a pretty trail through town and places to eat dinner. The room, though was so small I had to redirect the air conditioner so it wouldn’t blow directly on my side of the bed.
Good bones, historic charm, nice staff. The property is a little past its prime. The carpet is iffy, and some repairs are needed in the room.

No frills but missing basics
There was no coffee or Coffee cups in the room but there was a small coffee maker, the refrigerator had no freezer compartment, the curtains did not block
out daylight. The front desk person was great and other guests were quiet.
It's an old motel, so there are things that show their age. That aside, the bed was clean, the shower had excellent water pressure, the ac was very nice. The floor needs to be shampooed as it turns your feet black if you go bare foot after your shower. The hair dryer didn't work but it was hot enough outside that it didn't matter. Yes, we would stay here again. Cheap, clean and quiet. Nice bed and room has coffee pot, fridge, and microwave.
Amazing quiet area... I was able to park my RV with vehicle in tow in the parking lot... Thank you to the manager!! Comfortable beds and awesome water pressure in the shower..
We booked this stay here because we were on a tight budget and was advertised with a hot continental breakfast. I was told that there was coffee in the office and I inquired where was the breakfast area and was informed that it was coffee only. Would not have stayed here otherwise. The sight showed an amazing breakfast room and also a leaderboard that advertised a hot breakfast. The room also had a smell we couldn't identify. The carpet was dirty, the air conditioner was loud. The beds were fine and the bathroom had enough towels.
We were checking in late and there were no issues. Comfortable and quiet. We had to leave early morning and were surprised to see all the additional guests that we never heard arrive

Nice staff, renovated room, dirty floor
The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was OK, however the tile floor was dirty enough that I noticed the bottom of my feet blackened a bit after just a few minutes. I should add that the floors didn’t look dirty, but my bare feet proved otherwise pretty quickly. With that said, the rooms are renovated nicely, and the bed was very comfortable.
No breakfast. So Travelocity listing needs to be adjusted, as it states there is breakfast included and shows a picture of a well stocked breakfast area. Disappointed in that. Room had a new AC/Heater unit, new towels, lots of hot water, new vanity and tub surround. You had the impression the owners are trying, but it takes time and money to get to all the upgrades an older motel needs. It was quiet and felt safe. Check-in person very personable and helpful. Not a bargain, but satisfactory.
Not worth the money, when I could have stayed at Super 8 or motel 6. Broken items, mildew in the bathroom, bugs on bathroom floor next to dirty drain, old TP, very limited toiletries, won’t be taking my shoes off. Staff was the only redeeming part, they were kind and helpful.

My overall impression was that the owners are really trying. The rooms are old, but there are obvious upgrades. The tub surround was new, the vanity was new, then other furniture was clearly "tired," and some parts of the room are worn. The AC/Heater unit was new, a definite plus! Towels were new, water was hot. The surface cleaning was excellent, but a lip balm rolled off the night stand, and when I went to retrieve it I found a soda bottle with chew in it (gross!) and a potato chip. So a quick glance under and behind would be good. So the room had everything you need, and it felt safe. NO BREAKFAST, so that was a disappointment, because the listing on Travelocity said it was included, and showed a nice picture of a well stocked breakfast room. Overall it was a pleasant enough stay.
