"Amazing hospitality from Melani! Perfect escape for relaxation and getting in touch with nature. Our rooms were modern and well equipped with stunning views of the mountains. There was access to hiking trails directly from the property. We really enjoyed walking into town and lazing around the heated pool. Added joy of having the most well behaved and loving dogs we have ever met! Even if you are not a dog lover, Kenya and Luca will respect your space. Can’t wait to return! "

From the warm welcome by the owner on arrival, restaurant recommendation for the evening and freshly squeezed orange juice from their own orchard as part of the delicious breakfast, and did I mention really comfy beds, it was a real find. "I loved staying at the Hotel Roosje van de Kaap - Helpi was so welcoming and super friendly. The hotel has a restaurant but is also close to other dining options. There's also onsite parking - I'd definitely stay again next time I'm in Swellendam."
"Our luxury room ( with mountain view) was absolutely charming, spacious and super clean. The room was newly renovated, tastefully furnished and thoughtfully outfitted with everything that could be required. The mountain view from the expansive windows and patio door was stunning and the outdoor seating area on the balcony looking at the same view was a definite plus. The only downsides were a slightly firm mattress and a bit of road noise. Otherwise it was a nearly perfect stay."
"Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt mit vielen frei herumlaufenden Tieren! Die Unterkunft war schön, geräumig, sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Wir hatten vorab einen Picknickkorb bestellt und auf der Veranda gegrillt. Obwohl es leicht regnete, haben wir draußen unter einer Decke gesessen, Wein genossen und den Tieren zugesehen. Einfach traumhaft!"
