"I didn’t want to leave! They were amazing there. Staff were incredibly nice, and helpful when I had questions. I got to meet a few locals who welcomed me to their table and conversation. Everyone at the hotel made me feel welcome and like family. There is a nice pub that is a part of it. The food was great, and for vegetarians they had tasty options. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. I can’t wait to go back!"
"The Cairn Lodge is one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. Beautiful historic architecture in wooded setting, well maintained, accent lighting, beautifully furnished and stylishly decorated. We loved dinner and breakfast in the atrium. Food and service were impeccable. Relaxing bar area, easy parking. Easy in and out. Rooms were also beautiful. Comfortable. Richard gave us a warm greeting and service along with all waitstaff. "The bed here was very comfortable and much better than numerous Travelodges we've stayed in recently. Despite it being a twin turned into a double the join wasn't very noticeable and the mattress was very comfortable.
The only gripe for me was the shower head did look aged and the drain in the wet room didn't clear the floor quickly enough so you're stood in 2inches of water by the time you've finished but grab bars in all the right places. As a wheelchair user I found everything very...
