Hotel is ok for an overnight stay. The bedroom while clean smelt like an old folks home and the furniture is old and cheap looking. We were woken early by a loud member of the cleaning staff outside our room and then a leaf blower started up in the gardens. The breakfast was good but hearing the staff moving tables about because of a funeral party arriving soon was a bit off putting.

Website said "laundry facility " on site but there was none. We made reservations at this hotel because we thought we could do our laundry. Rooms are small as well as are the bathrooms. Dining was pleasant and the meals were well prepared. Only the salads were disappointing. More red onion in the salad than there was lettuce!

Vriendelijke ontvangst, nette kamers. Mooie tuin.

Room was simple, but nice. Front desk staff were outstanding. Breakfast was disappointing. No one served us, we didn’t get coffee or tea, and ended up just grabbing a yogurt and toast that were out. Still had to pay. Others around us did manage to order full breakfasts, so they might have better thoughts on that.

Great upgraded older hotel by Best Western. Only stayed one night on way to leaving from Edinburgh airport. Easy 22 minute trip in “rush hour” to drop off car. Buy gas in Dunfermline and save $$$ over buying in Edinburgh.
