"Wonderful hotel near Balmoral with comfortable rooms and staff definitely represented the classic highland hospitality! Great welcome and restaurant on grounds with cozy lobby area near a roaring fireplace. Staff gave great recommendations of the area. Will definitely stay again!"

"Very nice one-night stay. Lovely building and grounds. A bit too cold to enjoy the outdoors, but the gardens and general outdoor areas are very nice indeed. Would be fabulous on a nice warm sunny day. Rooms are large and comfortable, although facilities look a bit dated (not necessarily a bad thing if you like things old-school and traditional). Lovely staff, very welcoming. "

"This house was a wonderful base for our short break in Braemar. Lots of space so teenagers could have their peace and the garden was amazing for our 2 springer spaniels to run around in. Beautiful area with lots to do. Highly recommend. "
