Cute property with loads of charm in very central area. The staff is not onsite so codes are sent to guests. Was not able to reach staff with some questions but it was fine as it wasnt a drama. Just make sure all your questions are answered before you check in as its a self-serve property.

Riversleigh was lovely the old historic building was wonderful and outfitted beautifully however there was a lunatic across the road in Norton street who played loud music late at night and very early morning around 4am this ruined our stay unfortunately.

Upgraded to the New York room we were very happy with the comfort... spoil yourself & stay here to enjoy the 1880s way of life... great bed, lovely bathroom, a verandah from which you can breath in the sea air...

Beautiful but not quiet

The guesthouse is a really beautiful old house, but that means less insulation. It is located next to a major through road, and guests in other rooms are easily heard. In sum: if you are after a quiet stay, this is not the place. However, there is beautiful scenery (and silen e) only a few minutes away. My room was big and spot clean. The Molton Brown toiletries partially replaced by refillable IKEA bottles. The Sydney feel as per the booking site was more like Bali. Wi-Fi was good. The TV did not work (wind?). The host welcoming and friendly.

Love to return to stay longer.

I travel a lot. This accommodation stands out from the crowd. One word is quality and comfort. See website photos. An old building tastefully restored. May not have good sound proofing (room to room) if all rooms are full or have noisy guests. Very good value for money.

Very pleasant. Wasn’t sure of time of arrival so had a call from owners to advise how to access in event they were not in. They were and were very pleasant in welcoming us and recommending were to dine. All very relaxed and very pleasant stay. Lovely room. You could tell the owners had a real passion and sense of pride
