A highlight is the Knuthenborg Safari Park, the largest of its kind in Northern Europe. Here you can go on safari and experience exotic animals up close. For garden lovers, a visit to Knuthenborg Castle Park is a must, where you can stroll through historic gardens and landscaped parks. In the surrounding area, the town of Maribo is well worth a visit, with its impressive cathedral and the Maribo Lakes Nature Park.
