Bangalow is a beautiful heritage town, gorgeous parks and open spaces, lots of cafes and boutique shopping. Close to bustling Byron Bay, far enough away for peace and quiet.

The property is a 5 min walk into the historic village of Bangalow, ideally located, and accessible by foot to all local venues, Bangalow markets, popular wedding locations , local pub etc.

There are so many local attractions including the world famous beaches of Byron Bay to keep you entertained, or simply relax and unwind in your accommodation.

Getaway from stress

The garden including the scenery is stunning - sitting on the verandah and watching the sunset. The bungalow is spacious for 2 people. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Perfect location

This apartment was the perfect location for a relaxing break. A five-minute walk into the main street in Bangalow and a short drive to Byron beaches. The property is fully fenced which was great for our little dog.

Bangalow Escape

We were so glad we choose this accomodation. Just a short stroll to Bangalow itself. Just a short drive to Lennox Head, Alstonville, Brunswick Heads where we have friends. Very convenient, loved that we were left bread, butter, fruit from the host to use. Everything you need for a short stay for a couple. Quiet place. We hope to be back one day.

Glorious spot to stay without a doubt.Don and Philipa are so welcoming to their comfortable accommodation with additional and unexpected local treats on arrival.From homemade bread,jams and coffee,all enjoyed thoroughly,Caters for all your needs with touches of luxury,from a comfortable bed,glorious outdoor area with a barbecue.A picture perfect garden that was completely secure for our two beagles,who were well cared for in our abscence too. Thank you so much Don and Philippa,we had a lovely time in quaint Bangalow an surrounds.

We were sad to leave.

Such a lovely little find, and perfect for a quiet getaway which was just what we were looking for. Philippa keeps this place so beautifully clean and maintained, not to mention the stunning gardens for you to enjoy. And, we were greeted with home made treats and slices of bread from the local bakery when we arrived. The town centre is within walking distance from the village centre, and Byron Bay is a 15 to 20 minute drive away. Thanks again, Philippa, for your hospitality.

Tropical Paradise

We stayed for an extended long weekend . The property is absolutely perfect . You will not want for anything . There are so many little extras that the owner has included that it truly feels like home . A short walk into the Main Street where the shops and cafes etc are . The owner was very responsive and available if we required . She left a fabulous summary of places to go and things to do etc . Thank you Phillipa , we will be back . We really enjoyed ourselves . Go ahead and book if you are thinking about it , you won’t be disappointed . Thank you once again .

Home away from home

Can not recommend Philippa's accomodation and hospitality enough! We were much later than anticipated due to traffic and upon arrival, Philippa had turned the heater on to a comfortable 24 degrees as it was quite cool outside and the lights on. An absolute home away from home with everything you need and more. The little extras and touches are wonderful with bread, jam, biscuits, cereal and fresh fruit provided. In addition to this, a welcome letter and recommendations of places to eat and visit, including a cute little art trail map of the town. The town itself is within walking distance with cute little cafes, delicious coffee and great restaurants. Philippa is absolutely lovely and open to questions and being contacted whenever needed. Thank you so much for an easy, relaxing and stress free stay!

I arrived at dusk to a much needed warm and cosy atmosphere. The place was immaculately clean with everything provided. The small kitchen area contained all the usual needs plus fresh bread, butter, delicious biscuits and fruit. I was in Bangalow for the writers festival which was cancelled after one day of rain and mud but this place was so comfortable I couldn’t complain. Loved the view, garden and large deck. Great stay.

Tranquil Getaway - exceeded our expectations

What a memorable stay! The spacious apartment felt very quiet and secluded, opening out onto its own private verandah, beautifully maintained garden and distant views of the countryside. The verandah was the perfect spot for us to start and finish each day with a relaxing beverage! We were blown away with the special touches within the apartment including fresh fruit, butter, local bread, jams, excellent tea /coffee selections and home-made biscuits. The main town is a comfortable walking distance - and recommend as a lovely opportunity to explore hidden gems in the area. Thank you for making our stay so special Philippa!

Beautiful accommodation with gorgeous gardens

The property was very clean and stylish and Phillipa had left fruit and other goodies. The decorating is very lovely and the huge veranda overlooking the hills is a beautiful place to have breakfast and coffee and a wine in the evening. The gardens are magnificent. My little dog loved the gardens as much as I did. The location is fabulous to explore Byron Bay and the beautiful beaches around the area. Thanks Phillipa.

Beautiful garden, big veranda with bbq, table set and easy chairs, and clothes rack. Lots of space in the apartment and little extras from Phillipa. We didn't get to meet her, but she was available by phone if needed. The walk into the village was easy.

Lovely B+B in Bangalow

We had a lovely time at Philippa's B+B. Accommodation was very comfortable with the added bonus of being pet friendly. A fully fenced and secure yard for our dog in a lovely garden setting. Nice touches of fresh fruit, coffee, milk etc left in the kitchenette. Very private and quiet retreat close to the main street.

Wonderful stay in Bangalow

We were so glad to have chosen this accomodation … so close to town, accessible to Byron and Mullumbimby with a short drive and all the facilities you could want in a home base. The backyard was dog proof for our babies, private and relatively quiet and the gardens were such a tranquil green oasis. Inside was spotless and the little extra touches like milk, condiments and bread were so appreciated. The host was helpful and friendly and we enjoyed having a chat without feeling any pressure to linger too long. We would gladly stay again.
