The first of the two highlights for me would be the convenience of location as I had several appointments in the nearby "Samitivej" hospital, and the hotel being about a 10 minute walk or a 2 minute motor bike ride was extremely convenient. The second highlight was combination of the amenities and helpful staff. Having a washer+dryer in the room saved money on a laundry service and the cleaning staff being flexible enough to clean the room while recovering from surgery was beyond helpful.

This area is not as close to the action as other hotels but you can walk to the main Sukhumvit road and it is quieter and more reasonably priced than those closer. The staff were great!

I really enjoyed my stay at Adelphi Forty-Nine. The apartment-style room was spacious, quiet and very comfortable, which made it perfect for a longer stay. The bed was comfortable, and having a separate living area, kitchenette, washing machine and microwave made it feel more like a home away from home than a typical hotel room. I definitely missed having those conveniences once I continued my trip! The service was one of the highlights of my stay. Joe, GM, Plankton and the entire breakfast-room team were excellent. Everyone was welcoming, attentive and always willing to help. Breakfast was nice, and the hotel was in a convenient location for getting around Bangkok while still being in a quieter area. Overall, I had a great experience and would happily stay at Adelphi Forty-Nine again, especially for a longer visit to Bangkok.
