The staff was very unenthusiastic to welcome us and the woman at the front desk barely spoke to us. We signed a waver that stated we would pay 1000 thb if the key was lost and that they weren’t responsible for our belongings. We were shown a room 2 flights of stairs up. We did not have any lake view. The bed was ROCK HARD. We slept for one night to try and I was miserable, when we asked for a different bed they told us no they were all the same. When we asked for extra pillows and blankets they told us no. Then they showed us two different rooms after they had so no, but the beds were indeed the same so we kept our original room. Im not sure why we were told no to extra pillows as they clearly had rooms that were unbooked and we were miserably uncomfortable. We considered switching hotels for the bed alone but decided to stick it out since our stay was non-refund able. We didn’t realize this hotel was an hour drive to central Bangkok and had to take long taxi rides to go anywhere. This is a convenient place for 1 night because it is so close to the airport but not a good place to stay if you are exploring Bangkok. Do not stay here if you have a sensitive body as the beds are no better than the floor. In the end the woman at the front gave me a free bottle of water which softened my bad impression of her. I feel a big part of the rudeness was a language barrier, but when I looked at other reviews I saw that they responded to poor ones with sass and denial.
