Welcome to your spacious, 120-square-meter penthouse apartment on Plaza Tetuan, Barcelona. This unique apartment has an amazing private terrace with a direct view of the Sagrada Familia and the surrounding mountains. With two elevators and plenty of space, it's the perfect base for your group of up to 5 people to explore the city.

About the Apartment
The first bedroom has a double bed
The second bedroom also has a double bed
The third bedroom has two single beds
There is one bathroom with a bathtub, a shower, a toilet, and a washbasin.
A hairdryer and toiletries are provided.
A second bathroom has a shower, toilet, and washbasin.
Kitchen & Living Room: The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer, fridge, toaster, and a coffee machine. The living room has a sofa, a flat-screen TV, a DVD player, and a CD player. The living room opens onto a private terrace with amazing views.

We chose this property primarily for the location, and it did not disappoint. Situated in a local neighborhood away from the heavy tourist crowds, we had easy access to 24-hour markets, coffee shops, and great restaurants. The L2 Metro station is right outside, and the building is a well-known landmark (Plaça de Tetuán) for taxi drivers, making logistics seamless. Plus, walking to Sagrada familia, Arc de Triomf and Parc de la Ciutadella was a easy enough walk. The apartment itself is a rare find—It's on the top floor so a small elevator is necessary to get in and out of the room. Elevator was quick and readily available. Finding a unit with two bathrooms and enough beds for a family of four is difficult in Barcelona. The open family room and well-equipped kitchen were perfect for our weeklong stay. Internet was fast enough to stream movies at night via Ipad. Note for North Americans: there is a washing machine but no dryer (air-drying is the norm here). The top-floor view of the Sagrada Família from the balcony is a spectacular bonus. The management company was professional and communicative via WhatsApp. However, be aware of the "extra" costs—. Overall, a great property that we would definitely book again. Honestly felt like home after a weeklong Barcelona trip with the kids.

This is a great place. Very spacious and nicely decorated. There is a great view of La Familia Sagrada from the balcony. Centrally located to many of the city's attractions. Easy check-in (someone met us there) and good communication from the owner. We greatly enjoyed our stay!!

Family vacation

The apartment was perfect for our needs. Great location that was accessible to all parts of Barcelona and plenty of places to eat in walking distance. All bedrooms and the living room had air conditioning which was needed with the summer temperatures. Check in and out was easy.

Wonderful apartment

This is a wonderful apartment with a great location - walkable to many sites, transportation, restaurants, shops, grocery stores. It overloks a courtyard, so it is quiet and we had a nice view from the patio. It is roomy and comfortable, very clean, with most everything we needed for our stay. Our only challenge was that we were promised an extra set of keys, and they were never provided. We were a group of 4 adults and we wanted the flexibility to make different plans without having to depend on each other for access to the apartment.

Nice location and flat, communication and provisions could be improved

The flat is spacious with a lovely view, and worked well for our family of 5 (3 adults, 2 young kids). The location was good for walking and/or public transportation to restaurants, groceries, parks, and other attractions. The building was quiet and the area felt safe.My only complaint was with communication prior to the stay, and some of the supplies in the flat. Messages via the vrbo website were often not answered, or incompletely. Also, we were provided with a "cleaning kit" that included one garbage bag, one capsule of soap for the dishwasher and laundry, etc. For a 5 day stay with a family this was not sufficient. A broom also would have been helpful.

Great Location!

The location and overall stay was great, however we were in transit (on the plane) when the host reached out to us so unfortunately there was a delay in the process to check in. We found a coffee shop across the street and waited an hour for someone to let us in and walk us through the property. The gentleman who came to meet us was very helpful and provided us with options of where to go for authentic meals and places we should visit or stay away from. On that first afternoon we had no hot water so it was a cold water shower to clean up, we called the host right away and by the time we got back to the apartment from our walk through Barcelona and dinner things were fixed! One negative is the mattresses are not comfortable which impacted our sleep. Outside of that, we had no complaints at all. We also got a call from the host the second day to check in on how things were which was very kind. Overall, I would recommend this spot for a Barcelona experience.

Wonderful stay

Great location, close to attractions, restaurants and transportation options. The apartment has a nice view of the Sagrada Familia. It’s spacious, clean, nicely decorated. Quiet location. Check-in and check-out process was quick with no issues. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a great location and the accommodations were awesome. Close to the Metro and centrally located. You can see La Sagrada Familia from the balcony and living room. We would definitely recommend this to anyone staying in Barcelona.

Wonderful Apartment- fantastic location!

This apartment was incredible- it did not disappoint. It was spacious, well appointed, and clean. The host was incredibly responsive to questions and issues. Clean & spacious apartment.

Clean & spacious apartment. The upstairs bathroom was missing a shower door, so water splashed out while taking showers. We are a family of 5, only 4 glasses were in the kitchen, one of which was chipped, they did bring up additional glasses after we messaged them. Nice views from the balcony, but the outdoor seating isn’t too comfortable, upright metal chairs. There is a keyed entrance for the building, unfortunately, one evening when our family was returning home around 10:45 pm, we were followed into the building by a couple of people from the street. One of the men was loudly saying, “you don’t think I live here?” Fortunately our family got into the elevator and were safe, we could hear them for a bit being loud & then they left the building. We did bring this up to daytime security person who is stationed inside the entrance, but he wasn’t of any help. The location is great, close walks to most places.

Location and View, Great for Families

The location and layout of the apartment was wonderful, and perfect for our family of 4 plus 2 grandparents. The 2 story option was great to balance sleeping, working and tv, and the internet was sufficient for work. It is walking distance to shopping, Sagrada Familia and Arc de Triomf, and has an inward facing balcony with a view of Sagrada Familia that we enjoyed nightly. The apartment is managed by a company and lacked the maintenance and personal touches that would be nice. It lacked glassware for the number of people, one lamp did not consistently work, the upstairs mattress requires replacement, and 1 chair was broken. With a bit of care and money to maintain it could be great.

Good stay

All was well in this flat. Clean, easy access to everything. Great views. We had trouble with a malfunctioning lock on our last night but the manager sent someone over promptly. The mattress and pillows were a bit stiff, but other than that, it was a great place for our family of 5 to enjoy Barcelona for a few days. Very roomy and two full baths was a plus. Very quiet at night too.

Great Barcelona apartment

We were delighted with our apartment, although we thought the amenities should be updated. The towels were clean, but on the old side and not plentiful. Soup in the bathroom was more industrialized than personal. and there were few welcoming touches. Disappointed that we had to wait outside for three and one half hours before we could drop our bags off and get the keys. Having said all that, the apartment was charming and the neighborhood was great.

Perfect location

We were 2 couples and really enjoyed the apartment. Good space, great view of the Sagrada Família from the back terrace. Spend every evening and morning on the terrace enjoying a coffee or cava and the view. The bedrooms were a comfortable size with good closet space. The kitchen was well equipped. My only suggestion for the kitchen is to supply a kitchen towel versus the disposable wipe. There are air conditioners in each bedroom but I couldn’t figure out how to work the remote, luckily the weather was mild so open window at night made it comfortable. Also a couple of light bulbs in bedrooms were out in lamps but we used others and that worked. The building was very secure and elevators worked well, never a long wait. The location was great for walking to everywhere or hopping on the metro and going further. I will recommend this apartment to others and hope to come back again myself!

Un très bel appartement très bien situé

Une belle expérience dans cet appartement. Il est sur deux niveaux, bien organisé, fonctionnel, bien équipé, au calme pas loin du centre et de l’arc de triomphe. Une jolie terrasse avec une très belle vue sur la Sagrada Familia. Commerce à côté, restaurants... Un petit bémol sur les salles de bains, l’une est petite et l’autre à besoin d’être sérieusement rafraîchie (pas de porte de douche). Un autre bémol sur l´accueil, nous avons attendu 45 minutes. Et nous avons dû payer le solde de la location sur place, peu agréable. Globalement une belle expérience.

Wonderful contemporary apartment with good location and unforgettable view

Our group of three adult friends gathered in Barcelona for 8 nights in early June at this splendid apartment. We loved it ! The owners and their company Habitat were very good to work with, thoughtfully attentive to our belated arrivals due to airline delays, and responsive to our few requests. The apartment is well represented by the VRBO photos and description. It is spacious and light, well appointed with comfortable beds and linens, nice kitchen, and wonderfully located- right on the excellent public transportation route options for both metro and bus. We really liked our neighborhood and the Mercat Concepcion for provisions. Especially recommend Carite for breakfast and Bicnic on Girona for tapas or dinner. The a/c worked well and is operated by room so flexible and allowed for conservation when we were out. The only suggestion for improvement is the upstairs shower, but both bathrooms are reasonably modern with good water pressure and plenty of hot. The most amazing part is the terrace with views of the Sagrada Familia and the Torre Akbar...both splendid with morning coffee, and truly beautiful when lit at night for tinto and tapas. This lovely home base allowed us to pretend we lived here for a while ...a bit out of the fray, but with all of Barcelona at our fingertips...or footsteps.
