We were sent away to another property, MH Apartment upon arrival at Grandom Suites on Dec 28, 2019! We did not consent to this change!! We had planned activities around Grandom Suites neighbourhood. The apartment at the alternate location is old, yes spacious, but with dated fixtures. The bathroom is clean but unpleasant . The shower has no water pressure, and hot water was scarce, most of the time it was just lukewarm!! Not satisfactory.

We are a family of 5 pax on vacation in Barcelona. The apartment was well equipped, nicely equipped kitchen, quiet, clean and comfortable. the location is 5-8 minutes from the center of Barcelona, well connected with buses and metro to anywhere..

Not a Hotel

My husband, 2 teenagers, and I were cruising out of Barcelona and arrived 2 nights early to experience the town. When we arrived at the address given by Grandom Suites, we were told that they were over booked at that building and that they would pay for a taxi to take us to a different building Grandom Suites owns. The new apartment would not be ready until later in the afternoon. They did as they said, but this made us very uncomfortable since this was our first exposure to Barcelona. The new building was in the same general vicinity (a few blocks away) of the original building; however, the entryway to the new building was very dark and not nearly as inviting as the building we were told we would stay in. This is not a hotel operation, so if you are booking this, just know that it is more like an Airbnb. When the taxi dropped us off at the new building, we pressed the call button outside of the building and a lady answered to let us in the lobby. She said that someone would be down in a moment. Several minutes later, a gentleman came down to bring us to the suite. He was very kind and ultimately we received what the website said we would....a 2 bedroom/ 1 bath apartment with a living room and kitchen. We had looked at staying in a hotel in Barcelona, but to stay in this same area, it was going to cost around $800-$900/night. Our total for 2 nights at this apart. was $625. The apart. was clean and overall served its purpose, but we would most likely not stay here again.

Overall okay apartment, i would rate 3.5 star, location is very good, staff is very friendly and helpful, daily cleaning service was good. location is good, very central and walk able distance to lot of places only issues are limited hot water supply and quality of double bed was not good, it was like a spring mattress and not comfy!

Good location in Barcelona

We loved the location of our apartment and we had no real complaints but we could smell a lingering cigarette smoke throughout (despite plenty of notices advising the building and apartment to be smoke free), and this left us feeling everything was a bit tired and not perfectly clean.

De foto's zijn mooier dan de werkelijkheid

Op zich wel prima locatie ren opzichte van de Ramblas (ca 10 min lopen), wel aan een drukke weg, dus in de nacht is het niet stil. Personeel was erg behulpzaam! De tegenvaller was absoluut de staat van het complex en het appartement. Op de foto's ziet het er echt vele malen moderner uit dan het in werkelijkheid is. Het appartement was oud en rook niet fris. In de badkamer kwam de rioollucht je tegemoet. Op de gang veel dozen met rommel. Ik heb in meerdere appartementen gelogeerd in Barcelona en dit was echt de minste.

Les appartements dans l'immeuble sont propres et fonctionnels. Utile pour une famille qui a besoin plus d'une chambre. + Situation géographique + Service et disponibilité du personnel - Insonorisation de la porte d'entrée est complètement inexistante - La literie est peu confortable (on peu dormir mais pas une semaine) - Quelques mures nécessitent un rafraichissement - La quantité d'eau chaude est limité (chaudière interne dans l'appart) Nous avons passé une nuit, c'était correcte. Mais si vous pensez rester plus de 3 nuits cherchez un autre endroit.

Nice location and friendly staff!

Everyone was so friendly! The room is large and clean. The location is close to a lot of attractions and there is a big grocery store across the plaza. At night, is it quite safe to walk around. There were a few days we came back around midnight and it was perfectly safe. I would recommend this hotel to my friends!

Perfekt Lägenhetshotell för barnfamiljer

Vi var fyra vuxna och en 10 månaders bebis, som bodde på detta lägenhetshotell i tre nätter. Möts av väldigt vänlig receptionist samt ett väldigt välkomnade rum som dom hade förberett för vår son med både säng, matstol, bestick, hakklapp och leksaker. Han kände sig som hemma direkt. Hotellet låg precis invid en lekpark, perfekt för barn. Lätt att ta sig från flygbussen till fots och lätt att ta sig från hotellet till olika sevärdigheter. Lite svårt att hitta själva ingången till hotellet dock, men när man väl hade gjort det var resten inga problem.
