Newly remodeled and furnished rooms; great locatio

Newly remodeled and furnished, comfortable rooms on one of the best streets in Barcelona, with a great view of the street from the room. Friendly and helpful staff. It is a small hotel and does not have a bar or restaurant; however, there are many great cafes, bars and restaurants literally right outside the front door of the hotel. The hotels is on the floor above the ground floor, which was being remodeled during my stay.

Koselig lite hotel.

Veldig trivelig lite hotell. Stor pluss for balkong. Rolig. Personalet, den greie jenten i resepsjonen er behjelpelig med hva det skulle være. Litt langt fra stranden, hvis det er hovedmålet for reisen. Vi var veldig fornøyd.

Nice hotel close to La Rambla

Entrance abit off putting but once inside a nice,clean hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Close to Playa da Cataluyna. In easy walking distance to majority of places to see. Barcelona is a wonderful city to visit,lots to see,will have to go again as didn't get to see it all in 3 days.

Hotel bien situado

Un acierto la habitación con terraza ya que así pudimos disfrutar de unos agradables desayunos con el kit incluido en la habitación . La habitación de todos modos era un poco pequeña y echamos mucho de menos que no tuviera armario.

The hotel was ok the lobby area was unusual I was not sure where to go we had to take the elevator to the 2nd floor the reception area was where the rooms were it was unusual when u get off on the 2nd floor u did not know where to go there were no signs u had to knock on a door so they could let u in the door was closed because the air conditioning was on

A gem! clean and quaint..

excellent hotel! . great location and friendly desk attendants. Doesnt have any drawers or closet space but very clean and quaint. Good if your not interested in big lobbys and all the fuss.

Hotel cómodo en excelente ubicación

Barcelona es una ciudad bella y entretenida, el hotel se encuentra muy bien ubicado, en una muy buen barrio, la habitación es cómoda y con una linda terraza, el personal del hotel fue muy amable y bien dispuesto en todo momento.

Tolle Stadt die für jeden etwas bietet. Besonders kann ich die Bustouren empfehlen. So kann man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten kennenlernen.

Un buco sulla rambla

La posizione dell'hotel, era l'unica nota positiva. La camera era piccolissima, non era possibile neanche aprire le valige. Bisogna sottolineare che più che un hotel io definirei il posto, un affitto camere. La pulizia era nella media. Il personale cordiale. La prossima volta a Barcellona sceglierò comunque un altro hotel.

Sehr nettes und komfortables Hostel

- hostel mit hotelqualitäten - sehr sauberes zimmer & bad - tägliche zimmerreinigung - tolle lage (ca. 10min gehweg von placa de catalunya entfernt) - super nettes & zuvorkommendes personal (gibt tolle ausflugtipps) - sehr empfehlenswert - sollten wir wieder nach barcelona fliegen, würden wir auf jeden fall wieder im "the moods" buchen

Experience at The Moods

The hotel location was excellent as we could walk to everywhere. I do however think that some renovation to the downstairs to make it more inviting would be lovely. The air condition in the room was great, a mirror and a chair would have been nice to have. I give a 10+ for the staff, extremely helpful and very polite. Thank you!

Week-end entre copines

Hôtel relativement bien situé, pas cher pour la situation. Le personnel est extrêmement gentil et serviable (le fait de leur parler en catalan a peut-être aidé...). Une chambre pour trois avait été réservée, mais finalement nous n'étions que deux. La chambre avait donc une taille normale et lit confortable. Le lit d'appoint qui avait été rajouté n'avait pas l'air au top. Salle de bain propre, gel douche, shampoing et lait corporel fourni. Pas de petit déj proposé par l'hôtel mais une bouilloire est à dispo dans la chambre avec sachet de thé, de café et des biscuits sont mis à disposition gratuitement. Moi quoi qu'il en soit, pleins de café dans les rues si besoin. La chambre donnait sur une cour intérieure. N'avons entendu aucun bruit durant la nuit. Très très calme. Possibilité de laisser la valise le dernier jour jusqu'à l'heure du départ. Wifi bon également, pas ultra puissant mais correct.

I have to give the staff props for being accommodating and personable. The room was quite small, in the sense that you can't open the balcony door because of the bed, so you need to climb over the bed to go outside. The balcony was nice, and the staff was nice enlige to find us a couple of chairs, so we could sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine while watching the lively street. The neighborhood is good for shopping, with the big brands in the next street over or little boutique stores in the side streets. It's also a short walking distance (15 min) from la rambla and the gothic quarter. Few of Gaudi's architecture is nearby. The cleanliness of the room was lacking. Walls are dirty, and it seems that the middle part of the shelves/tables are cleaned so the space towards the edges are dusty/dirty I recommend the location, but the hotel it self is lacking.

Excellent hotel

Great location, within walking distance to major attractions and many restaurants/shops right outside the hotel. Room was very comfortable, clean and had a great balcony. Hotel staff were very nice and super helpful. Would definitely stay there again!

Mottakelse på hotellet var enestående. Resepsjonisten tok seg god tid til å informere oss om nærområdet, og selve Barcelona. Og han kom med fantastiske tips angående restauranter som vi aldri skulle ha funnet på egen hånd. Det ble en kulinair reise til rimelig penger. Vi hadde dog kanskje flaks med rommet også, fordi ikke alle rom har utsikt, det er flere som har vinduet mot en liten bakgård. Men fordelen med sånt rom er nok at det er enda roligere, og mindre varmt siden solen kommer aldri inn.

Can't say enough about how great it was

We stayed at The Moods for two nights and wish we could’ve stayed longer! The staff was amazing from staying late for our late check-in to giving us tips and suggestions for sightseeing. We’ve stayed in a variety of hotels from luxury to budget and this was far and away one of the best experiences we have had. The room was small but it had everything we needed - a great air conditioning system (important for hot summer nights!), a TV and a comfortable bed. To top it off, The Moods is in an amazing location and had super clean rooms. Can’t wait to go back to Barcelona and stay with them again!
