Modern hotel next to train station

Beautiful and modern hotel right next to the trsin station in Bari. The rooms are big and immaculately clean. The location is good being steps away from the new town and around 15 minutes flat walk from the old town.

Lovely staff, fantastic breakfast selection, great location (just a couple of minutes to Bari Central station). Would recommend if you’re using Bari as base to explore more of Puglia. Approx. 25 min walk to Bari old town but that didn’t bother us & plus we wanted to be near the station.

The hotel itself is very nice. Most staff were great. Buffet breakfast was good, something there for everyone. Hotel is about 150mtrs to bus stop and train station so was very convenient for us. Lots of graffitti and rubbish in the area which is a shame. Lovely restaurant (Mavi) next door. Will stay again for convenience

Hotel Excelsior

The stay at this hotel is very pleasant My room and bathroom are clean and spacious. Personnel is friendly and helpful. A bar, restaurant and gym are on the premises, all very nice . They feature a lunch special Mon-Fri with a variety of choices. The helpful waiter explained the different dishes to me. Front staff was so helpful with directions to the Old Town which is easily walkable from the hotel. There is a grocery store next door. Also the train station is close by. The view from my room is not great, but it is not too important.

Several issues at the hotel: antiquated electrical outlets, room was very noisy next to the elevators, breakfast was terrible, very difficult to regulate temperature with a shower - it keeps changing temperature, room was hot even with heat off.

NEW building, impeccable 4 star hotel! Rooms have no carpets, they are perfectly clean. On top of that this hotel has a fine dining restaurant with incredible service and food, at a low price. A 4-course meal including a big glass of wine for 28 euros. Breakfast (included with room price) is also excellent. Highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Bari. It is also steps from the main train station

It is a lovely hotel and the service is very good. Unfortunately it is in a poor location which is dirty, a little run-down and full of graffiti. Being near the station, there are also many beggars in the area (sadly).

Extremely convenient to the train station making it a perfect spot to start and end if you’re visiting Puglia and flying in and out of Bari. We stayed there the night we arrived in Italy and the night before we left.. They advertise they will hold your luggage prior to check in if you arrive early but better than that they got us right into our rooms hours before check in super convenient. The area around the train station isn’t amazing but the hotel is clean nice and classy and the restaurant is very good too for inclusive breakfast or a late dinner.

The hotel is situated close to the central station (3 mins walk). Another 2 minutes and you're in the center with all the shops. The old city center (Bari Vecchia) is only a 20 minutes walk away, just like to the sea shore boulevard. Rooms are large enough, very clean and well-equipped. Quality of the bed was good. Breakfast is included and overwhelming, so many options. Staff is friendly and always willing to help (i.e. offering cappucini during breakfast). I would choose this hotel again when travelling to Bari again.

Charged my card for cleaning. When cleaning was included. Almost a brothel given both sides of the room were occupied 24/7 by prostitutes. Surly management and inclined to steal as per above. Do not recommend under any circumstances. Go elsewhere. Not everyone in this beautiful city behaves like this!

Checked in for 1 night, aircon noisy in room, only supplied 1 large towel when 2 of us had been booked in. Hairdryer in bathroom was falling apart, room looked as though it was for disabled access and should have been advised of this before visit, it wasnt a cheap room either.Breakfast served with paper cups, expected a higher standard and was left severely disappointed

I had to leave early and they made a breakfast bag up for me which was very much appreciated. I also got to check in a little early which was handy. Nice clean room. We had dinner there too and that is recommended. Also super close to the train station and bus terminal.
