"The building and rooms seem to be in need of repair and updating. No handles on some of the drawers in the room, magic marker on the head board, chipped wood on the furniture, one thing blanket on each bed. Loud music late at night from the bar in the hotel. "

"Clean room "

"The hotel staff was above and beyond. Each time we requested anything it was brought as soon as we requested it. We had a suite room and it was very nice and convenient. Having a full kitchen is great when you want to sleep in without having to catch a breakfast schedule we just made our own breakfast when we got up. One of the things that I and my husband had a problem with is the bed. It was very hard and uncomfortable. The bed could stand to use some more padding. I had to request two comforters to lay down on the mattress to make it softer so my back wouldn't hurt. Also, we had to buy a night light to see to get to the bathroom at night. Those room darkening curtains work great! Sorry I didn't think to see at the desk if they supply them if requested. I was at the store and bought one. Finally the shower door only opens at one end so you can't just reach in to turn the water on to warm up. You have step in the shower to do it and you get hit with cold water but heck what's better than a cold splash of water before you shower. Also the shower head is not adjustable and the spray is a bit hard on the face. From our experience at staying at other hotels the adjustable shower head comes standard. But our overall stay at Hotel LBI was great just a few hiccups! "

"The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel needs to be updated. There were mold stains on the ceiling in the room along with huge dust cobwebs in the corners. The walls are super thin. When I booked it stated the free breakfast included bacon and eggs etc and all they had was packaged pastries which were disgusting, hard boiled eggs, fruits and a little bit of cereal with a waffle maker"

"I read some of the older reviews, and I was kind of worried. Our stay was very pleasant. The room was clean, beds were comfortable with clean linens, no signs of bugs or mold, or any of the other things reported from other reviewers. I’m sure the hotel has done some upgrades since those folks stayed. The shower was just OK but workable. Staff was very friendly. Plenty of parking. I would stay there again."

"What a sensational stay! It’s a whole huge modular home, with a very comfy and luxurious feel. My favorite amenity was the huge tub with a romantic little dimmed chandelier above it! Also features two sinks, shower and washer dryer. There is an equipped full kitchen. Amazing highly recommended romantic spot. The place is part of a community on a lake. We hope to return some time. "

"My main complaint was the room smelled like smoke from cigarettes. It was so terrible that even the clothes i didnt wear that stayed in my suitcase the whole time smelled like smoke. My son and I had stuffy noses and he even complained the smell was making him dizzy. We had an entire hockey organization stay at this hotel for a tournament we do every year and sadly i wouldnt recommened it for next year. Hopefully people respect the no smoking rules and the hotel can somehow clean the room to remove the smell. Not worth the money we spent for 2 nights. "
