Perfect house and location to relax, unwind and enjoy the great view and beautiful noises of nature. Host is always available to help and the house was very well equiped and welcoming. We had a beautiful time!
Beautiful home, waterfront and surroundings. Our family of 10 made many wonderful memories. A Special joy were the soulful, peaceful sounds of the lake loons in the evening and mornings. Spectacular vistas of forest and mountains.Loved every minute and the owners attention to details and amenities was the best I ever experienced.
We came to Vermont for a wedding and stayed the week at Tony’s property. The views are incredible, house immaculate, and locals are nice. Lovely to walk around the lake and we kayaked daily. Dock allows for easy use of kayaks. Kitchen had everything you could need. Highly recommend.
This property has everything you might need or want. The view of the mountain and lake makes up one wall of the house, and it's incredible! The stars at night and the calls of the loons are just as wonderful. The house is perfectly functional for a large group with plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen has every spice, staple and cooking item you could possibly need. My son even made a beautiful Victoria sponge cake with homemade whipped cream and strawberries. There are a myriad of flotation devices, boats and paddle boards for all ages, even babies! We loved our stay so much! The hosts were very accommodating and responsive!
Tony was a great host providing information before and during our trip. The house had everything we needed. The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed kayaking and fishing. Very relaxing stay!
The house and location are magnificent. Very clean, comfortable, everything you need is there!
The experience was very easy, accurate, and as an experienced VRBO renter, this was as seemless as the others. Tony is a great host, easy to communicate with, and welcoming.
We absolutely love Harvey’s lake and this house was the the icing on the cake! Beautiful views, wonderful amenities and plenty of space for the entire family. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute of it. We will be back next summer for sure!
We had a great stay and visit. Tony was very proffesional and accomodating through the booking process. It was easy to communicate. The property is absolutely beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed the lake and used the kayaks. The property is very private and we will hopefully return again in the future.
We stayed at Tony’s house for almost a week with our friends who traveled the world and are very spoiled. We all had such an amazing time! The house is large and welcoming. It has everything you could think about. The location and the views are stunning!!! We will be back soon for sure.
Great property. One of the most accommodating rental homes that we’ve ever stayed in. Perfect for two families with children.
Not a lot going on around Harvey’s, but the lake is super clean and the views from the house are awesome.
Tony was very efficient and great to deal with.
Thanks for the stay.
Our family enjoyed a wonderful vacation in this beautiful home on a quiet, peaceful lake. The house itself was sparkling clean, well appointed and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms had nice amenities and we were able to feel right at home immediately. The lake itself is very clean, there was terrific swimming right from the dock and the view from the deck was stunning. The neighborhood and surrounding area is lovely for walking or biking. We would highly recommend this vacation home!
My whole family loved this place and it was as advertised. Large and clean with great views of Harvey’s Lake and the mountain range. It slept 6 of us comfortably and we spent most days down by the water or on the deck. About an hour away from Stowe or other busier towns but the drives there are beautiful. We are definitely planning a return trip. Only thing of note - the walk to and from the water is a little taxing for older renters. My parents (60s) were able to do the trips up and down but you might be sucking wind a little on the way up...
This was by far a beautiful choice for a vacation! The house, the mountain, the unforgettable lake view, absolutely everything you need for ANY age! Gorgeous, cozy, so clean, so relaxing, etc.
My husband, our friends and our children loved this rental and Tony was by far the best host. Even during a rainstorm this home had so much to do. Such a fantastic spot.
I would 100% recommend this place if you’re looking for a spot you will never forget. The beauty, the peace, the energy is all 10/10. Highly recommended and cannot wait to go back! Thank you guys for some of our best memories of summer 2023!
Our family had a terrific time here, starting with the fabulous lake and mountain views from the many attractive locations in the house and on the property. The modern house is extremely comfortable, with different places to gather and a kitchen that feels great to be in and works great for cooking too - we appreciated the spices the owners make available, as well as the suggestions for local farmstands. We swam from the dock every day in the beautiful lake, and in the evenings grilled our dinner on the front deck overlooking the lake and mountain, which is as or more gorgeous than in the photos. Outfitted with everything we needed, the house manages to feel both luxurious and comfortable at the same time, just right for a waterfront vacation. Highly recommended.
The property was beautiful. The house had plenty of space, was clean and was well equipped.
The house had everything we needed: clean, fully equipped kitchen, kayaks, toys for the kids, linens, beach towels etc. The construction of the deck was needing improvement. The railing was very wobbly and missing a spindle - kids could fall through. The lake was VERY clean! The people in the area are wonderful, 1 hour to Santa’s village, and it was an easy drive from Burlington area. Tony (owner) was extremely responsive throughout the entire process. Internet worked well, so some work and calls could still be made. We would highly recommend this house!
We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at this property. The house was beautiful and the location was exactly what we were looking for. The house was spotless, with well-cleaned linens and dishes. Check in and out was easy and smooth, with clear directions. The owners were very responsive and easy to communicate with. The WiFi worked perfectly, including for calling, which is key for anyone who is concerned about connectivity at a place with no cell service. While coming from the east the property seems very remote, it is a short drive headed northwest to St Johnsbury, where all of the essentials are available. We were also very happy with the local quick stop, which had everything we needed that we didn’t bring with us (read: ice cream). The sleeping options are great, especially with two beds (cot and trundle bed) that can easily be moved from room to room. We would definitely rent this property again and would recommend it for anyone looking for a get-away.
Enjoyed our stay at Harvey's Lake. Was able to sleep all 9 of us comfortably. Turned the den into a bedroom which helped. Everyone enjoyed the house. WiFi worked great for everyone, and all their devices, including setting our smartphones to WiFi calling as cell service is basically non existant up there. TV just has local stations and would be nice if it had cable or satellite, but only a few watched it anyway as there is much more to do. Overall, a very nice house for a large family.
We enjoyed 4th of July week at this beautiful lakeside property. We had two families with a total of 6 kids and the home was perfect for our needs. The mountain and lake views were exquisite. We had fun hiking, fishing, kayaking and going out on our pontoon boat which we were able to tie up at the property’s dock. We enjoyed many of our meals right in the kitchen which was outfitted with all of the cookware and appliances that we needed for family meals.
