"Great little stay.Perfect for exploring the area. Cosy and really clean.Has the most beautiful view from the large window .Hot tub make all the difference and a great treat after some long national trust hikes.So many coves to explore .Loved it and will definitely be back. Thanks x"

"Wow! Talk about a view! From the moment we walked into Helen's rental we felt very at home and comfortable. The first thing you notice is the amazing view out of the lounge window, which goes straight onto a balcony with perfect unobstructed sea views! The lounge was a good size with relaxing sofas, the kitchen had everything for a great self catering break away! The bedrooms downstairs were a good size and comfortable beds. The master bedroom had a lovely little patio with table and chairs. The house was easy to find and it was a very simple check-in. We walked up the hill into Mortehoe, about 15 mins and sampled the pubs for dinner and drinks, they were very nice. We also did the easy walk into Woolacombe, it was much busier but also good food and drinking places, about 15 mins walk. The beaches were so easy to walk to and looked so nice. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks again Helen and for the lovely welcome gifts. "

"This well appointed apartment makes the absolute most of the stunning views overlooking Coombesgate Beach and beyond. We love the downstairs wet room ideal for wetsuits and sandy feet! The cloakroom area means all coats and shoes are out of the way and not cluttering the apartment and the kitchen space is well designed including two fridges. We love staying here and this is our 5th visit with 3 more weeks planned so far this year so yes we would definitely recommend for comfort, location and amazing views! "We enjoyed our week at Shellborough. The weather was wonderful, sunny every day. The property was as we remembered it from the last time we visited. One or two improvements had been made. Overall a comfortable, spacious property. Only two of us but plenty of room for two. The views from the balcony are what makes this a place to revisit. They did not disappoint, wave watching and lovely sunsets. One thing to be aware of are the stairs. Obviously, a penthouse has quite a few. These are not a problem for an able bodied person but need to be considered if you are elderly or disabled."

"A lovely apartment, with a sae view and short walks to the beach and Woolacombe. All with it's own parking space, which is a definite bonus on busy Woolacombe days. If you're a surfer or have beach equipment, it really caters for that, as you have your own private, lockable shed in which to keep your kit (we managed to squeeze in a 9ft long board), and there an outside shower to rinse yourself and wetsuits, plus a washing line to dry your stuff. All of which make for a great holiday, and it's why we come back here. The apartment itself is really good, with a large lounge in which to relax and look out to sea. Missing it already..."
