"Alnwick is navigable on foot, and The White Swan was centrally located. Breakfast was cheerfully presented and the staff went out of their way to help me make a connection at the Almouth rail station two miles away."

"Had a truly beautiful stay at the Bailiffgate Hotel. Stunning place, helpful staff and a perfect location for our stay in Alnwick. The castle view from the hotel room was amazing."

"Name of property not as listed. Only one shower (2 listed). One bathroom is en-suite (not mentioned). Dishwasher broken. No T-towels to dry dishes, no drainer on sink. Only 2 toilet rolls for 6 adults.Boiler broke down (but fixed that day). Rubbish bins full. TV remote needs batteries. Otherwise a nice place and handy for town."

"Excellent find close to the centre of Alnwick. Fabulous welcome from David & Bev who were fabulous. Gave us great recommendations for places to eat & even booked a table for us. One of the best breakfasts we’ve had for ages…the eggy bread was heavenly. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re up in the North East."
