To start on a positive note, the hotel lobby and restaurant looks clean and inviting. The staff was very polite. Also, the internet was quite stable and sheets and towels were clean. There were however, a few things that need more attention to detail and quality. For example, Extremely small and grainy tv. The TV screen is just bigger than a laptop screen. It smelled like mold in the hallway. Room floor was stained and always looked dirty. The phone in the room didn’t work so I couldn’t reach reception. Although the bathroom was quite clean, they need to do some deeper cleaning to remove some of the set in stains. Overall, since Ibis is a global chain you can expect it to kind of be the same everywhere you go so it’s dependable in that sense. It’s affordable and in a safe location.

Hotel Ibis, Bata, Päiväntasaajan Guinea

Hotelli on hienolla paikalla rannassa ja myös kävelyetäisyydellä kaupungista. Käveltävä rantatie jatkuu kilometrejä kumpaankin suuntaan. Kauppoja ja ravintoloita, lähetystöjä (Gabon) ja nähtävyyksiä on lähellä. Uima- allas on isohko, mutta hieman ränsistynyt ja ilman mitään palveluja. Siellä oli kuitenkin mukava viettää aikaa rauhassa. Ulkoterassi ravintolan yhteydessä kiva. Aamiainen hyvä, mutta usein ruoka oli loppunut jo tuntia ennen aamiaisen loppumisaikaa sekä aina samanlainen buffet. Henkilökuntaa tuntui olevan vähän, ainakaan palvelua ei saanut ja piti odottaa ja käydä pyytämässä tarjoilua, laskua ym. Samoin kielitaito kaikilla tosi heikkoa englanniksi. Huone myös ränsistynyt, vaatisi kunnostusta. WC- pesuhuone systeemi outo, valmis "kapseli" sijoitettu huoneeseen. Tuntui kuin olisit ollut koko ajan matkalla junassa, laivassa tai lentokoneessa! Huonot äänieristeet kuin naapuri olisi omassa vessassa. Suihku erillään, hyvä ja lämmintä vettä tuli. AC toimi, mutta hyvin kostea ilma ja pölyinen myös samaan aikaan. Lattiamateriaali muovinen ja huono, kostea eikä puhdas. Kaikkine puutteineen liian kallis.

O hotel é bom, os atendentes são excelentes!! Muito atenciosos! O hotel está bem localizado, tem supermercado, restaurantes e o próprio passeio marítimo! O Hotel tem um excelente restaurante. Contudo, foi o Hotel ibis mais caro que fiquei em relação ao restante do mundo!!!

Super Lage an der langen Uferpromenade, auch wenn das eigentliche Zentrum eher zwei Steinwürfe entfernt ist Schade, dass die Dachterrasse nicht genutzt wird Verständigung problemlos auf spanisch, französisch oder englisch kleiner Kühlschrank im Zimmer reicht für Getränke für die Nacht

Durante la estancia surgieron distintos inconvenientes y aunque todos se solucionaron de forma satisfactoria, algunos como la limpieza tardaran más de lo razonable. Personal en general agradable, con alguna excepción. No vendría mal algún curso de formación en atención al cliente.

Prepare-se para desconectar.

O que mais me incomodou foi a qualidade da internet. Impossível fazer uma chamada seja com ou sem vídeo. Geladeira não funcionava, janela não abria, funcionários de mal humor. O café da manhã não era ruim. Poderia ter academia. Máquina de cartão de crédito só funciona as vezes. A localização é ótima e a vista muito linda.

The water is brownish. I trust Ibis could have installed a water treatment device. Towels are dirty. No sleepers in the rooms and the floors are sticky. Any hotel operator should know that hygiene is the crutial condition of a hotel accommodation. Restaurant menu is outdated. Needs substantial improvement

Das Ibis Bata ist internationaler Ibis-Standard, eher anonyme, einfache, kleine Zimmer. Wlan funktioniert, Personal weniger. Nett ist die Lage gegenüber Meerespromenade. Zum Flughafen ca. 15 min mit dem Auto.

IBIS Hotel BATA 느낌

바타에서는 최고의 호텔이긴 한데, 일반적으로는 보통수준입니다. 방이 너무 보통이하수준이구요. 여관느낌. 1층식당 주문시 음식이 너무 늦게 나와요. 그래도 Bata에서는 이비스밖에 없어요. Plaza palace가 있다는데 거기는 안가뵈서 비교가 안되네요.

Roach-infested/Out of Service Elevator

This hotel is disappointing. Unfortunately, it is one of your only options in Bata. It is roach-infested and the elevators didn't work while I was there. I have stayed at this hotel four or five times over the years and I have to admit that it is the first time that there have been issues with the elevator; however, in talking to a fellow guest, he told me that it was a common occurrence. I suggest that you choose rooms on the first of second floor, in case you have to make a climb for it. The roaches on the other hand, have always been there and it doesn't seem like they are going anywhere. In addition, there is not hotel shuttle and the hotel can't call you a cab so you better have a way to get to the airport. In terms of food, they have a pretty decent breakfast buffet, but the dinner menu is not great. Whatever you do, don't order the club sandwich, you will be sorely disappointed.

Top Notch Service

The employees at this hotel offer top notch service. They are extremely kind and patient with foreigners and offer much advice for getting around Bata. Had they not helped me out I would have wasted a lot of money and time learning the ropes of the area. The breakfast buffet is very good and any dish from the restaurant is a sure thing. Try the lamb and pork in the pepper sauce. The rooms were clean and I never had any problems with anything. Not all employees speak English so brushing up on the Spanish, French or Fang is definitely in order.
