"Stayed for two nights.
Pros:
-On-site dining was very good. Prime Rib was great and
breakfast the following morning was good.
-Staff was very nice and helpful
-Victorian Architecture was beautiful
Cons:
-Had third floor room. 3 flights of steps with luggage and every time returning to the room truly sucked.
-Room was small and hot Outside hallway/sitting area was very nice, and cool (AC unit was in hallway but nothing in the room)
-Cost of approximately $250US/night was way overpriced...

"We have stayed at more than twenty VRBO homes over the years and this one is definitely one of the best experiences we’ve had. Jacqueline is so thoughtful. Her replies were immediate. The home is lovely and very comfortable-the bed was great even for my husband who has a bad back. I usually cook more than I did this time and everything I would have needed was right there! Thank you for a lovely visit - we wish it had been longer."
"We had a wonderful week stay at the Captain's House! Check-in was seamless, the home exceeded our expectations. It was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was exactly what we were looking for, with a beach on our doorstep, Lunenburg and Mahone Bay a short drive away, and views of porpoises and seals swimming in the bay. Lots of memories made during our stay, we highly recommend Captain's House!"

"This beautiful cottage has been recently renovated. Very nicely appointed! The laundry is a definite perk and the complimentary coffee, maple marshmallows and chocolate biscuits were lovely.The view is remarkable! Kayaks are available for a paddle from the launch area.Cottage is only 15 minutes from Lunenburg so quick access to shopping and dining."
"Our room was new and beautiful with a fireplace and great seating area, as well as comfortable beds. Their restaurant has deck and indoor seating with beautiful harbour views and the food was delicious. We loved it!"
"Totally renovated property with comfortable bed. Very clean and quiet. You can walk to the downtown in 10-15 minutes. There is a grocery store just next to the property.
