"The property is a bit antiquated. Reminds me of old motels in the early 90s. My biggest issue is the pictures showed a room with a full size fridge, stove and microwave. My room had a mini fridge and mini microwave which was completely full of rust. Second biggest issue was the bugs in the bathroom. Dead bugs all over the bathroom I presume coming from a hole somewhere. The floors were all dirty. Noise level is about what you expect it wasn’t too bad. The pool area was nice. The area where the mini fridge was dirty and old like the walls looked dirty and incomplete. The air conditioner worked great. The location was perfect about a 4 min walk to the beach. 15 min walk to all the restaurants such as Aruba or Sushi Sake. I end up cutting my trip short as the cleanliness really bothered me. If you need somewhere to stay and won’t be in your room much then this would be the place to book. "

"The Blue Strawberry is a great little place to spend a few days in Lauderdale by the Sea. This place is INCREDIBLY clean, and staff is very helpful. This is an older property, but has been well taken care of. If you are looking for a property close to the beach and the "square", this is it."
