I booked this hotel strictly by the reviews. I don't ever stay in less the a 31/2 - 4 star hotel but this hotel had such good reviews I decided to give it a try. It is an old hotel but has lots of character. the staff was amazing Warren the man who helped us check in was the most friendly and helpful staff I've ever seen. It was like staying with relatives. I will definitely be back!

Wonderful clean, cozy, safe, and great location in Laguna Beach! Walk to beach and town! Nothing fancy just comfortable sweet hotel with great guests. I’d highly recommend staying here for a warm laid back experience. I was traveling solo as an older woman and loved it!

Impressive small hotel less than a mile from the restaurants and shopping district on Avenida Del Mar. New construction, thoughtfully appointed and very comfortable, plus great communication and updates from the owner during our stay. Would definitely stay again!

This hotel has a Cape Cod feel to it. Located on the cliffs of Dana Point and overlooking the harbor and ocean. Great service by all the staff and all were super friendly. They offer a wine, cheese, crackers in the afternoon and a fabulous buffet breakfast as well. All Complimentary. It is small quaint and quiet. A real gem on the coast. We are definitely going back!

Magical place. Water fountains, flowers, beautiful pool, room was beautiful. And super comfortable beds. Staff was wonderful! And breakfast was delicious!

This property is so beautiful!! Would definitely recommend it, and will be staying there again, when in Huntington. It was so clean, and the staff were all so nice.

We loved the surfing theme decor and laid back beach music playing in the lobby. Our room was so comfortable and seemed like a room in a beach house instead of a hotel. There was a turntable with a 60s album on the dresser; we enjoyed hearing those old songs. The hotel hosted a free happy hour daily and provided kits to make s’mores on the fire pits in the outside patio area. The staff were all so friendly and made us feel so welcome. We enjoy our stays at Doryman's. We had the corner beachside room and it was beautiful to look out at the beach and pier. Check-in is easy, there are open, top deck patios to sit and enjoy the sunrise/sunsets. I love that each room looks different. Only drawback is that the parking is across the lot behind a business. But you can park upfront for check-in. We would definitely come back to this gem.

I love this location. It is so close to the beach, you cannot beat it! And you cannot beat the views! Cozy and convenient...hidden gem!
