"Parking lot is very tight. Small vehicle work great. Go to desk to warm food or pop popcorn. That we didn't know about. You do have a refrigerator in your room. No hair dryer or iron. Laundry ladies were at lunch not helpful. Wasn't asking them to move a bed. Wanted a wash rag and towel. We had been there for 4 nights."
La Jolla Shores Hotel

"Great location for a slow stay in La Jolla. I appreciate the laid back vibe of this older property. It’s well maintained and has everything I needed to fully unwind. I love that it isn’t stuffy. I don’t get the $55 parking fee. That’s steep. I highly recommend this place especially if you can find some where else to park."

The Dana on Mission Bay

"Our 5 day stay at the Dana was awesome. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. The staff were all so friendly. The Firefly restaurant was delicious and so convenient. Being on a marina the views are amazing especially the stunning sunsets. You can rent bikes , kayaks and jet skis for a fee. The pools were refreshing. The rooms were very clean and they replenished the towels each day. Some say the rooms are outdated a bit but didn’t bother us. You’re on vacation, in the rooms to sleep. Our king size bed and the pillows were comfy . They have a free shuttle that took us to SeaWorld and back….that was cool. We loved our stay and had no complaints. We will be back again."
