"This is a charming property. Perfect little getaway spot for 2 people. Basically spotless, and very cozy. Wonderful place to relax. Close to the beach, and parks. Good outdoor space for enjoying coffee in the morning or a fire pit in the evening. Decent restaurants within a 15 minute drive, as well as downtown Muskegon. Our host, Ed was very responsive."

"Amazing property close to the beach! We opted to drive to the dog beach which was way less busy than the main beach. Water was crystal clear with clean, white sand! Family of 7 with our puppy would definitely visit again. The farmer’s market was amazing! We also spent a day at Michigan’s Adventure which was super fun!"

"This property is an absolute gem! Located in a quiet neighborhood and is walking distance to both Lake Michigan and Lake Muskegon, hiking trails, and the beach. Super clean and all the comforts of home. It was nice to have a fire in the fire pit out back after a long day exploring. Ed was the best host! Communication was so easy! We will definitely return to Redbird Cottage! Thank you Ed!"

"Sunsets in Sherman was a fabulous place to stay for our summer family gathering (ages 3-77 yrs). The communication with Valerie was prompt and helpful. The place was well stocked with beach items, cooking/eating equipment, children’s toys/games, nice deck, comfy beds, and lots more. It was an easy walk…and not too many steps down…to the fabulous dog beach. One of the prettiest beaches we’d ever seen. There were wonderful boardwalk treks to exquisite overlooks, where the sunsets were awesome. The place was also close by great neighborhood parks that the young children loved, as well as Muskegon’s lighthouse, Monet’s Garden, and The Deck restaurant. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to enjoy our Lake Michigan family vacation!"
