"We didn’t have a car but the staff greeting you are awesome! All staff treated us wonderfully and we will stay there again. Only issue I had was the bathroom. Huge bathroom but has nothing. No vanity to put stuff on especially for women trying to get ready. Small cupboard away from sink. You need to update and make the bathrooms more functioning so people have a place to put their personal needs. That is the only downfall with the rooms. Perhaps a large mirror in the room would also help. "

"We booked a stay at the Casa Ocean in Miami Beach from April 10-12 and had a very disappointing experience. From the moment we entered our room, there was a strong, foul odor and everything felt damp, even the bed sheets. It was clearly not a comfortable or acceptable environment. We knew right away that we were not going to stay in this room! We immediately went to the front desk to raise the issue, but the response was dismissive. We were simply told that the room had been cleaned, and no effort was made to offer a solution or alternative. Given the condition of the room, we decided we could not stay and checked out as soon as we found another hotel. We decided to stay at a brand name hotel where we were certain the room would be at an acceptable standard. so we booked the Tru by Hilton and had a very nice stay until we left for a Carribean cruise. We spent over double the price for another hotel. Why would we do that if the Casa Ocean was an acceptable option! We had no option, the Casa Ocean was disgusting! When we requested a refund, we were told to go through Expedia. So we did. Expedia then contacted the hotel and the hotel claimed we checked out without providing a reason, which was not true, we clearly explained the odor and the dampness. In a follow up email, the hotel gave yet another inconsistent explanation, stating we did t"

"Staff cares less about your satisfaction. Valet said it was $50 a night, statement says $58 per night charged, staff said $30 per beach umbrella, statement said $48 per beach umbrella! Vending machine says $2.50 for a bottle of water, bank account shows $10 for a bottle of water. Will price gouge you for everything. Area gets people from all over the world, don’t think you matter to them."
