This creek-side four-bedroom home is the perfect place to bring your family on your next trip to North Carolina! With private dock access, enjoy the sights, sounds, and local wildlife viewing every day, go kayaking, or try your luck at some fishing. When you aren't gazing out at the gleaming water, head for the private hot tub for a bubbling soak under the star-speckled sky.

Inside, discover an open-concept living room, dining area, and kitchen. Promoting family time, this space is large enough for everyone to feel comfortable. Gather on the soft seating in the living room while streaming your favorite TV shows and movies. Or, don your chef's hat and show off your culinary skills amongst the stainless steel appliances, wood countertops, and center island in the full kitchen. When mealtime rolls around, dine at the formal dining table or dine alfresco and continue to enjoy the sunshine on the home's patio.

Additionally, the sunroom offers a private space to sit, visit, and look out at the water, and the private washer/dryer ensures that chore time is the least of your concerns.

With four spacious bedrooms to choose from everyone in your family is sure to be satisfied. Private TVs, high-quality linens, and ample natural lighting come with each. To round out the home's stellar amenities, be sure to utilize the central air-conditioning, keeping you cool and comfortable no matter the temperature outside!

All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

Problem with bathrooms and it was reported to no avail. Mice poop all over kitchen counters and floor. Nice view out back but house really isn’t up to Virbo standards. Would not stay there again. Stuck off way off road on dirt path

The setting was wonderful, and that is why we chose that location. The house is spacious yet lacked a lot of the things that one would expect like enough glasses , plates and silverware for eight people, dirt around the front door and in other areas in the bathrooms. With a little attention this place is a great place to stay.

VACASA the rental company was an absolute nightmare to deal with. We will never book anything managed by them again. Communication was horrific and conflicting. There were times we waited six hours for our response while we were at the house and having issues or questions. We were told our pontoon boat would be fine on the dock. We drove our boat six hours only to find out that low tide is so low. The boat is not even in the water and completely useless for most of the day.We were offered an opportunity for a reduced rate late checkout. At 10 AM a home appraiser showed up unannounced to access the entire house and take photos while we were trying to enjoy our morning prior to departing. There are no smoke detectors. We are a fire fighter family. This is a definite problem. RING cameras all over the exterior of the property. This goes against the listing that mentions just one on the front door and felt like a TOTAL privacy violation. The house was very nice and the views are priceless! We brought our paddle boards. Morning coffee and evening drinks on the deck were amazing. The hot tub was a plus!!The kitchen is definitely lacking in basic items like frying pans, a toaster and common spices like pepper! WiFi wasn’t the what it could have been, but we spent most time outside! Due to VACASA alone we won’t be back!!

Great Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful and well equipped, though they could use an update on pots/pans for the kitchen. We experienced a short power outage while we were there (not their fault) and Vacasa was very easy to get a hold of and contacted the property ownerto get updates from the power company. My only suggestion for visitors planning to use the pier would be to bring some bug spray. There was plenty of fish and crabs around the pier and we were able to catch a few of them.

Location

This was our second time staying at this house. The location is awesome, close enough to everything but far enough away. Beds are comfortable and the house had everything we needed. The views from the backyard are the best.

Beautiful, very private home on the water

This was our second stay at this property. We had such an amazing time when we came last year that I couldn’t wait to return. It really is a piece of paradise, nestled back in the woods and on a peaceful and very private marsh with amazing views of the intercoastal waterway. The sunsets are the prettiest I’ve ever seen and it’s so quiet. Soaking in the hot tub with that view is like nothing I’ve ever experienced. The house was not as clean as I would have hoped when we arrived but the host Vacasa was very attentive and took care of everything quickly. Absolutely beautiful home and we will definitely be back.

Lovely water view!

We really enjoyed this house. The location is quite peaceful; it has water on three sides and a large amount of "yard,", great for my grand-dog. The house is nice too, a bit worn in spots and some small things to fix, but nothing major. There's lots of space and the living room is large and comfortable. There's a nice dock (shallow water, but fine for kayaks), two screen porches, a hot tub, and a deck with a porch swing. The bedrooms are pleasant and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is large with lots of counter space and an amazing amount of cooking equipment. We made Thanksgiving dinner there. The view can't be beat! And if you are a bird-watcher or photographer, you will love this location! The sunsets were amazing. My only complaint is about Vacasa; next rental I will look for houses not managed by them. You have to go to their office to get a "Packet" and then you have to return it at the end--yes, another drive. The office staff was very nice but I would have rather not go to the office. Also it was impossible to get good information from them. I asked some questions about the house and got exactly opposite results from different people. No, "there are no bowls or frying pans", "yes there are some basics" (neither of these were true--there was lots of stuff!) Leave the sheets on the bed, strip the bed, put away the dishes, don't put away the dishes....sigh...

Property is lovely, but needs care and love

The house itself and the location were great. We also enjoyed the hot tub. We didn’t appreciate that the bathrooms were not clean properly (we found hair, dirty toilets, roaches). We encountered mice, mice’s poop over the counters in kitchen, ants (we didn’t care much as it is to be expected) and cockroaches in one of the bedrooms, kitchen, living room, etc.

I'll be back!

Advertisement describes this home perfectly. Location was great, near everything! Secluded area with a dock to fish and catch crabs fun for the young ones. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was huge. Made it easy to prepare meals. Will definitely book again!

Rhododendron Issues

Lights in one bathroom not working. Found large water bugs in the home. Barbecue gas tank was empty. Poison ivy growing around the barbecue grill. Sliding glass doors on the shower in the bathroom fell off their tracks. One could not be fixed. Name of person given to contact with problems in the off hours was no longer doing this work. Spent lots of time on these issues. Requested a partial refund , but still have NOT received it.

Quiet location

The property is well maintained. Love the marsh where there was lots of wildlife. We saw everything from crabs, to cranes, to lizards. 15 minute drive to the Atlantic Beach Boardwalk. Convenient to shopping and food.

Piece of paradise

Gorgeous house, the pictures don’t do it justice! Minutes away from downtown waterfront Beaufort but nestled into your own private waterfront t paradise in the woods. Soak away your stress in your own private hot in, surrounded by views and sounds of the marsh and creek under the stars! Very private! I can’t say enough. We can’t wait to come back!!

Great getaway

Love the location of the house and the dock. The layout of the house is great as well. Plenty of fish to be caught off the dock although the picnic table was in pieces when we arrived. Also don't expect to launch kayaks without getting very muddy and only at high tide. We paddled elsewhere. Being close to the marsh, lots of dead bugs inside, but we could over look that due to all the other positives. Otherwise very clean and well kept home.
